Project Resistance is a new Resident Evil game coming soon and Capcom are getting ready to reveal the first teaser later today.

Resident Evil Project Resistance – Update 1:

Capcom has announced the first teaser trailer for Project Resistance, the latest game to make use of the RE Engine (but does some fascinating things with it).

Currently, there is not that much information about the game to share with you, but Capcom promises more of the game will be on show at the Tokyo Games Show, which takes place over the coming week.

You can read everything we know so far – and check out the new trailer – at the link below.

Resident Evil fans don’t have to wait too much longer before they discover what Capcom are planning with their latest Resident Evil outing, currently known as Project Resistance .

The game was officially teased two weeks back with some screens also leaking the same day.

Very little is known about the game, but the general consensus appears to be that its some sort of modern-day outing for the Resident Evil Outbreak series. A PS2 spin-off from the main games.

Although, how this fits into the 4 player co-op style gameplay that the screenshots appear to be teasing, is anyones guess.

A good observation from GamesRadar’s Leon Hurley notes that there’s even a connection to the Outbreak game in the leaked images.

“That main guy in the leaked images for the new Resident Evil game is totally wearing a Raccoon City varsity jacket,” he tweets. “And Raccoon University appears in [drum roll] Resident Evil Outbreak.”

As Daily Star writer Dom Peppiatt pointed out two weeks back, the recent string of excellent Capcom titles with Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil 2 Remake and Devil May Cry 5 has certainly emboldened the publisher.

Whether they can apply the same magic to a series that is likely a spin-off, is something we’re eager to see.

During the initial announcement, Capcom also confirmed that the game will be shown during this year’s Tokyo Game Show.

There’s also the chance for the public to get hands-on with the game, whatever it actually is.

Either way, the game is sure to go down well with Resi fans we think. So read on, for details on when the teaser is revealed and how to watch.

What time is Project Resistance revealed?

The official website for the game reveals that a teaser trailer will be shown on September 9 at 3:00pm [UTC].

Those without a knowledge of global times will be pleased to know that the teaser will arrive at 4pm BST in the UK.

That’s also September 9 at 8:00 a.m. [PST] or September 10 at 12:00 a.m. [JST] for anyone who happens to be reading this outside the UK.

How can I watch the Project Resistance teaser?

According to the official website, it seems as though the teaser trailer will be released on the official Resident Evil YouTube channel and Facebook page , which can be found on the links.

Daily Star will add the teaser trailer the second it drops, so you could also bookmark this page and watch it here.

Epilogues

Successfully complete the game on the hard difficulty setting to unlock an Epilogue. Epilogues are a short diary description of each character in the entire Resident Evil series which describes what happened with that specific person after their adventure. Successfully complete the game on the hard difficulty setting eight times to unlock all Epilogues. All eight Epilogues read as followed:

Jill Valentine After escaping the city, Jill set out to join Chris Redfield. However, all she found was an empty hideout of Chris’s. On the floor was Chris’s knife. Jill left without hesitation because she firmly believes that Chris is still alive. She will search for him until she finds him. Then they can go and put an end to Umbrella.

Chris Redfield “Please forgive me Claire.” Chris Redfield has just finished this letter with his signature phrase. As he removes his sunglasses, a lady walks by him with light steps. “She looks about the same age as Claire,” he thinks. A short time later, Chris discovered that his sister was looking for him, but was caught.

Barry Burton Barry Burton looks at his young daughters and says, “I’m sorry but my comrades are waiting for me.” He knows that he must repay his teammates for forgiving his betrayal. Even if that means leaving his family for now. His wife tries to hide her fear, so she smiles and says, “Don’t worry. We’ll be OK. “

Leon Kennedy Leon Scott Kennedy is confronted by a man who claims to be a U.S. government agent. Leon says, “Leave Sherry alone. She is innocent.” “She knows too much,” the man replies. He looks at Leon and says, “But you have value. This is a good deal. Make your choice.” Without regret or hesitation, Leon closes his eyes and then sharply responds.

Claire Redfield “Leave us alone.” Claire Redfield couldn’t believe Leon’s words. Leon continued, “You’re looking for your brother, right? Just go!” Claire knew that Leon and Sherry needed immediate medical attention, but she could not waste anymore time. “I. I’ll be back. I promise!” She said as she disappeared into the wilderness alone.

Sherry Birkin “Do you have any relatives?” When the army officer asked her, Sherry Birkin did not respond for she has no immediate relatives. Her father and mother died because of the G-virus. And so, this little girl holds herself with her arms and bites her lip tight. She thinks, “I’m sure she will come back. She won’t forget about me. “

Ada Wong A woman looks at herself in the mirror. She used to be called Ada Wong. But this morning she will say good-bye to the name. “I’m not Ada Wong anymore. ” She feels her ab and thinks, “This is Ada’s scar, not mine.” And as she says good-bye to Ada Wong, she can’t stop her tears. However, there isn’t much time left before her next mission.

Hunk, the 4th Survivor “Once again, only you survived, Mr. Death,” the chopper pilot speaks with a cold bitterness. “Always, only you, survive, Mr. Death,” the pilot continues. But Hunk does not respond to the pilot. He doesn’t care. “The Death cannot die. ” the survivor thinks to himself with a warm smile.

Resident Evil 3 Will Have ‘More Open Spaces’ Than Original, Nemesis is ‘His Own Brand of Terror’

The original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis was a lot more open than its predecessor, and with the recent boom in open-world games, fans may wonder how its 2020 remake would handle Raccoon City’s size. PS4’s Resident Evil 3 won’t be open world, but it will feature “more open spaces” than the original 1999 game, according to Capcom producer Peter Fabiano. It will emphasize more exploration, with a focus on audio design, much like the sound in Resident Evil 2 remake, which will help you overcome interactions with the deadly Nemesis, who the developer says is “his own brand of terror.”

As part of an interview with Official PlayStation Magazine, Fabiano dove deep into the remake’s key differences from the original, discussing the city’s large open areas and the things Capcom was able to do thanks to the PS4 hardware. He also warned fans that Nemesis is much more deadly this time around, due to a more sophisticated AI and the ability to implement additional audio techniques when compared to the original.

In reference to Resident Evil 3’s open areas, Fabiano explained:

You’ll find that you’ll be able to walk through areas and explore a bit more than in the original. Keep in mind that you never know what might lurk around the corner.

Capcom is aiming to turn the horror up to 11 with the remake, and the S.T.A.R of the show will be, of course, the terrifying Nemesis. One of the things that will help the team pull this off is an emphasis on sound design. Fabiano said:

There was some overlap in the development of Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 2, and both utilise RE Engine. We certainly took some elements that we learned putting together Resident Evil 2’s Tyrant, but Nemesis is his own brand of terror, and a relentless pursuer who can use weapons.

Resident Evil 3 has more open spaces and one of the things that makes Nemesis so frightening is that he is relentless and you never know when or where he might show up. Sound is very important, especially in horror games, and we are always working to ensure that sound design adds to that feeling of tension. We’re using similar sound techniques from Resident Evil 2, and even some of the same sound designers.

As we reported earlier today, Resident Evil 3 will not feature multiple endings or a playable Mercenaries mode. It will, however, give Carlos Oliveira a more robust role and include Resident Evil Resistance, a 4v1 multiplayer mode in lieu of Mercenaries. These myriad differences, aligned with the PS4’s updated tech will allow for Resident Evil 3 to feel true to the 1999 original, while “adapting to modernize the game as if it were being made today,” Fabiano says.

Resident Evil 3 will launch for PS4 on April 3, 2020. You can preorder it from Amazon, though preordering it through the PS Store will also net you a free theme, which you can download right now.

Hints

Rocket Launcher

Finish the game in under three hours without rescuing anyone. If done correctly, a rocket will appear after the credits. Save the game. Then, start the game that was just saved and the rocket launcher with infinite ammunition will be available. Note: The rocket launcher does not shoot well upwards or downwards.

No Need To Fight Tyrant

When playing as Jill, after coming back from the Guardhouse and fighting the snake again, you find youself in a hole and Barry drops the rope. When he says he will go and get another, don’t wait for him, just carry on through the gravestone, you can get out at the other end. If all goes well, at the final sequence instead of fighting Tyrant you will go out onto the Helicopter Pad and the Helecopter will pick u up straight away.

Special Key

Finish the game with Chris or Jill. If you are playing with Chris you must escape with Jill and Rebecca. If you are playing Jill you must escape with Chris and Barry. After that start your saved game (which is just a new game) and you’ll get a key which you can take to the room with the large mirror and open the closet that you can never get open with the Special Key.

V-Jolt

Enter the room with the number pad in the dormitory. To create V-Jolt mix UMB No. 2 with water to create the No. 3 chemical. Then mix UMB No. 2 with UMB No. 4 to create Yellow-06. Then mix No. 3 with UMB No. 4 to create No. 7. Next mix Yellow-06 with No. 7 to get No. 13. Finally make more No. 3 and then mix it to No. 13 to make V-Jolt. An easy way to remember is 1+2=3, 3+4=7, 4+2=6, 6+7=13, 13+3=16 (Water=1.)

Get A Few Clips At The Beginning

When you and Bary go into the dining room, go to the north door turn left, to the zombie after you kill him. Check Kennith twice it will give you two clips.

Configure Game (Japanese Version)

Pause the game and press Start + Select. Now game options may be changed before resuming the game.

Reset Game

Pause the game and press Start + Select. Then the game will reset and return to the main menu.

Alternate Clothes

Rescue the other two players and finish the game. If done correctly, the phrase “You’ve got the special key” will appear after the credits. Save the game. Start the game that was just saved. Enter the room with the large mirror on the second floor of the mansion. Unlock the door in the back. Enter the closet and move all the way to the end of the rack of clothes. Then, a message asking “There is an outfit that fits you perfectly, do you want to put it on?” will appear. Now select “Yes” to change your character’s clothes.

Cheats

Change Difficulty During Game (Japanese Version)

Resident Evil 2 Remake How to Unlock Infinite Ammo

In Resident Evil 2 Remake (2019) on PS4, Xbox One and PC you can unlock Infinite Ammo. This is an actual in-game reward and not a cheat.

There areВ 5 weapons with Infinite Ammo. They are rewards for tasks found in the Records Menu. You access the Records Menu from the Main Menu, Bonuses, Records. You can also view it anytime from the Pause Menu.

  • Infinite Samurai Edge Pistol Ammo: Beat Standard Difficulty with S-Rank. The time requirement is 3:30:00 for Leon A / Claire A & 3:00:00 for Leon B / Claire B.
  • Infinite LE 5 Submachine Gun Ammo: Beat Hardcore Difficulty with S-Rank.В The time requirement is 2:30:00 for Leon A / Claire A & 2:00:00 for Leon B / Claire B.
  • Infinite Combat Knife: Find All 15 Mr. Raccoons. See Collectible Locations Guide.
  • Infinite ATM-4 Rocket Launcher: Beat Leon’sВ story on Hardcore with S+ Rank (doesn’t matter if A or B scenario, either will unlock it). The time requirement is 2:30:00 for A-Scenario / 2:00:00 for B-Scenario. To get S+ you are not allowed to use any infinite ammo weapons as they void S+ and restrict you to normal “S” rank! So you must play without using any of the above infinite ammo weapons, just leave them in the item box. Furthermore, there are reports that you can only make up to 3 manual saves for S+. If you make 4 manual saves it turns into S rank.
  • Infinite Minigun: Beat Claire’sВ story on Hardcore with S+ Rank (doesn’t matter if A or B scenario, either will unlock it). The time requirement is 2:30:00 for A-Scenario / 2:00:00 for B-Scenario. To get S+ you are not allowed to use any infinite ammo weapons as they void S+ and restrict you to normal “S” rank!В So you must play without using any of the above infinite ammo weapons, just leave them in the item box. Furthermore, there are reports that you can only make up to 3 manual saves for S+. If you make 4 manual saves it turns into S rank.

Having unlimited ammo is super helpful for Hardcore Difficulty. Therefore it’s recommended you do a Standard Difficulty S-Rank Speedrun first. The only requirement for S-Rank is time. It doesn’t matter how often you die or save. However, if you do die, make sure you don’t select “Continue” as it keeps counting your time since last death. Instead, quit to Main Menu and continue from there to be set back to last checkpoint or load save so it reverts your timer. With this method it excludes the time since death. Pausing the game is also fine, it will stop the timer when you pause. It doesn’t matter with which character you do the S-Rank or if it’s A or B scenario. The Infinite Ammo unlocks for both characters across all difficulty settings. That means when youВ get the Infinite Samurai Edge Pistol through Standard Difficulty S-Rank it can be used on Hardcore difficulty, too!

If you want to unlock the infiniteВ Rocket Launcher and Minigun you must earn S+ on Hardcore difficulty. Using any infinite ammo weapon or making more than 3 manual saves will restrict you to normal “S” Rank so “S+” becomes unobtainable. If you want these ultimate weapons you have to play without any of the previously unlocked infinite ammo weapons.

The 15 Mr. Raccoons for the knife will require multiple playthroughs because some are exclusive to Leon A, Claire A, and either one’s B campaign. Ideally, you’ll get the Mr. Raccoons first, then do the S-Rank on Normal, then tackle Hardcore.

After unlocking an infinite weapon you can retrieve it from the item box on all playthroughs, with all characters and difficulty settings. Enjoy your unlimited ammo!

The Game Awards 2019 will have 10 game reveals – but not Resident Evil 3

This Friday should see the announcement of 10 big name new video games, but Capcom’s Resident Evil 3 remake will not be amongst them.

The Game Awards is not only the video game equivalent of the Oscars, it’s also the most important time of the year, outside of E3, for unveiling brand new video games.

Last year you had Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, Far Cry: New Dawn, Dragon Age 4, The Outer Worlds, Mortal Kombat 11, Crash Team Racing, and the first Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC.

Previous years have included everything from Bayonetta 3 and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice to the first proper looks at Death Stranding and Zelda: Breath Of The Wild.

So there’s every reason to expect big news this week, even though the proximity of the PlayStation 5 and Project Scarlett unveilings may limit exactly what can be talked about.

Presenter and organiser Geoff Keighley took to Reddit last night for an AMA in which he claimed, ‘There are around 10 new games/projects being revealed if you want to count the things that no one has heard about yet.’

But despite seeming to be almost a shoe-in, given the recent leak of artwork onto PSN, Resident Evil 3 will not be there.

‘There are no plans (never were) to do anything with Resident Evil 3 at the show. A lot of these ‘leaks’ are completely wrong’, he said. ‘Nothing about our show has leaked as of this writing.’

That is surprising, but if Resident Evil 3 isn’t going to be at The Game Awards the question is when and where are Capcom planning to announce it? Perhaps it will be at Jump Festa after all.

Other possibilities for reveals are Batman: Arkham Legacy and the recently rumoured A Plague Tale sequel, although clearly it’s best not to assume anything.

Update: Sony has a PlayStation State Of Play video planned to go live next Tuesday, so that’s almost certainly going to be when Resident Evil 3 is announced. It may even be used for the Batman game as well.

As for the awards themselves, you can see the full list of nominees here, where, despite its mixed critical reception, Death Stranding has received the greatest number of nominations.

This has caused some controversy, as Geoff Keighley is a friend of Hideo Kojima and has dedicated a lot of time to the game in previous events.

However, he instead in the AMA that he has nothing to do with the nominations or winners, which is instead left up to a panel of international judges – of which we are one.

‘That process isn’t the result of me having a cameo in a game, but also because I work with developers on world premieres, announcements, sponsorships, and other aspects of the show. I want the jury to be ‘blind’ to all those other aspects’, he said.

‘I just have to stay true to the rules and voting and hope that, if I want to build something that stands the test of time, I act as ethically and fairly as I can.’

Resident Evil 2 remake review: An amazing horror survival game

Recent updates have divided fans but this new release ticks all the boxes and the good news is you don’t need to have played it before.

The sequel drops on January 25, so get your trigger fingers ready. Source:Supplied

Ready for a terrifying experience that will make you drop your controller in horror but still keep you coming back for more? Whether you love or hate scary games, you need to play Resident Evil 2, which is easily one of the best horror survival games on the market.

Zombies have been dominating the horror landscape for years, and Resident Evil 2 brings a breath of fresh air to the increasingly stale genre and actually makes the undead scary again. While the recent entries in the franchise have divided the fan base, this remake really takes the series back to its roots.

The remake is near perfect, really doing justice to the original, while still making huge changes and introducing features. Despite the series being more than 20-years-old, it still manages to feel entirely new, which makes for a great experience. If you’re playing for the first time don’t worry, you don’t need to have played any other Resident Evil games to understand what’s going on.

Resident Evil 2 follows either Leon Kennedy or Claire Redfield as they fight their way through the zombie infested Racoon City Police Station, trying to escape the undead outbreak. Both characters are more or less the same for most of the initial play through, with different weapons, supporting characters and stories towards the end. While some of the dialogue is a bit cheesy, the strong story, voice acting and serious tone of the narrative more than makes up for it.

After finishing the game, you are able to play as the other character to see a different perspective of the game. This is an interesting feature, but it does mean that you need to almost replay parts of the game to get the complete story.

Although I don’t usually dabble in horror games, Resident Evil 2 had me hooked immediately, keeping me on the edge of my seat for the entire game. There was a constant feeling of dread and paranoia, but I was also determined to finish and explore everything, despite knowing a jump scare could be just around the corner.

The sequel drops on January 25, so get your trigger fingers ready. Source:Supplied

The scare factor is enough for horror fans to be on the edge of their seats, while not overwhelming casual or new players. The switch to the new Resident Evil game engine uses completely different camera angles to the original, with an over the shoulder view adding to the suspense. Turning a corner and coming face-to-face with a zombie or the Tyrant character can definitely make your heart skip a beat. The Tyrant will show up at key moments, his footsteps getting louder and louder as he closes in on you, building the suspense.

Being a survival horror game, resources and bullets are limited, as is your inventory space, so careful item management is needed. Players should not be afraid to run away from enemies if they have to, as it could be the only way to survive at times (especially if you hear footsteps approaching!).

The run time is not too long, only taking me about eight hours to finish the first time around, but after a year of emotionally draining games like Red Dead Redemption 2, I think short and sweet here is a good thing. Plus Capcom has confirmed more content will be coming, with new stories called ‘The Ghost survivors’ as a free update for the game. In a time when developers are increasingly trying to drain every cent out of you, giving away free content is a great service to the fan base. You go Capcom!

The second instalment honours the original, while also making a number of necessary changes that will please veteran fans. Source:Supplied

This is a remake done right. Resident Evil 2 really honours the original, while also making a number of necessary changes that will please veteran fans, as well as opening the franchise to new players. This is one of the best survival horror games out there, managing to terrify you, while still keeping you engrossed in the story. Scares lurk around every corner, and the game perfectly builds suspense, especially with its background music and sounds.

Resident Evil 2 hits the shelves from January 25th 2019, and is well worth a purchase as it’s arguably the best release of the year so far.

Who is “Inezh”?

23 years after “Biohazard”/”Resident Evil” and we still haven’t found who was the actress that played in the FMVs as Jill. There is this whole mystery on the internet about the possible actresses that might the “Inezh” of the credits that we are looking for. It seems that all the other actors were credited with their true first names, so the actress we are looking could have the name “Inezh” after all.

One of the other actors on set, Barry Gjerde (the famous Barry) recalls her mentioning a school in Edmonton, Canada.

Shinji Mikami, the game’s creator, states that Inezh was a high school girl at the time. As the scenes were filmed in Japan, this would mean she was attending school there in 1996.

There is a popular belief on the internet that “Inezh” is actually the actress Una Kavanagh.

Undeniably there is a resemblance. The problem is that when she was asked in 2011 by Resident Evil Data Base if she had played the role of Jill Valentine she answered: “No”. With one word only. And she seemed rather annoyed by the question. There is still the possibility that she might feel embarrassed by her performance for her standards as an actress -because otherwise the fans love her performance, or she might not remember it at all.
