Resident Evil 3: How To Unlock Nightmare Mode
This guide will assist players in unlocking Nightmare Mode in Resident Evil 3.
Nightmare mode is the second hardest difficulty in the game. The game begins with three difficulties at the beginning, Assisted, Standard, and Hardcore. By completing a certain task, harder difficulties will unlock, including Nightmare and Inferno. These modes are initially grayed out at the start of the game. During nightmare mode, enemies behave more aggressively, enemy attacks are much stronger, and enemies and items appear in different locations, making it a much more challenging experience than the previous difficulties. Here is how to unlock Nightmare Mode in Resident Evil 3.
Unlocking Nightmare Mode in Resident Evil 3
To unlock Nightmare Mode in Resident Evil 3, the player must first beat the game on Hardcore mode. They just have to complete a normal playthrough of the game on Hardcore mode, no need to worry about ranking or score. As long as the player is able to finish the campaign, Nightmare Mode will be available next down the line. The game is relatively short, taking about 6 hours to beat a run, so unlocking the harder difficulties might be something hardcore players will want to do to get the most out of their game.
The game also has a harder difficulty than Nightmare, Inferno. To unlock Inferno Mode, the player must beat the game in Nightmare Mode. This is the hardest difficulty in Resident Evil 3. It may take some time for the most hardcore Resident Evil players to get through, as enemy spawns are more aggressive and items are even more limited. Resident Evil 3 is another classic Capcom title that received the complete remake treatment. While the common census is Resident Evil 2’s remake has a bit more shine when compared to Resident Evil 3’s remake, the game is still going to satisfy many fans of the survivor-horror genre.

In Resident Evil 4 players have a huge variety of weapons and attacks to choose from. But YouTuber Dante Ravioli decided to use something very different to kill one of the most famous enemies in the game. Instead of a shotgun or pistol, they kicked a door into the chainsaw guy’s face a few dozen times. Surprisingly, this worked.
Dante Ravioli didn’t think this would work. Using just a door to kill a tough enemy sounds ridiculous. It just sounded too improbable to him. However, his whole YouTube channel is dedicated to testing out crazy, impossible or strange challenges in games. “I had to at least give it a shot,” explained Dante Ravioli.
To pull this strange kill off, Ravioli lured the chainsaw guy towards a building with a door and then proceded to run into the building. Then he waited right near the door. Using the loud motor of the chainsaw, Ravioli was able to figure out when he should kick open the door, which damages any enemy directly behind it. Then he just did this over and over and over, until eventually, he had killed his target.
It took him around 30 minutes to successfully kill Dr. Salvador , the actual name of that chainsaw-wielding boss. The first half of that was filled with some mistakes and restarts. Once Ravioli got the timing down, he was able to kill the chainsaw loving doctor in about 14 minutes. He posted the whole unedited fight on YouTube.
It is quite comical to see such a deadly and scary enemy reduced to a bumbling idiot. He keeps falling for the same trick, over and over. Come on, dude. Quit falling for this door trick. You’re a doctor. You’re smarter than this.
This isn’t the only boss Ravioli has killed using a door in Resident Evil 4. A much more challenging opponent was the Verdugo. It took two hours of door smashing to finally kill that tough enemy. “This took so many attempts that my thumb was starting to hurt after mashing the ‘door open’ button for so long,” said Ravioli.
While Dante Ravioli would love to kill more bosses in Resident Evil 4 using just a door, it seems unlikely. The problem is that most bosses in the game aren’t near doors. However, Ravioli does believe that if a door was available near other bosses in the game, this could work. It seems nobody is immune to a door hitting them in the face a few dozen times.

Resident Evil 3 Remake walkthrough – Carlos and the return to RCPD

Here’s a walkthrough for the Carlos RCPD section of Resident Evil 3 Remake.
If you missed part 2 of our Resident Evil 3 Remake walkthrough, check that link for the sewer section, the Nemesis flamethrower boss, and Gun Shop Kendo.
Now you’re playing as Carlos and you’re standing in the graveyard outside RCPD. Follow the path laid out and head towards the entrance where you’ll have a battle against a super zombie in a nice little nod to one of Resident Evil 3’s coolest secrets.
Make sure you grab the ID Card from his corpse. Head into RCPD and use the deposit box and typewriter if you like, then head under the shutter your pal opens and into Reception.
There’s a box in here you can use the ID Card to get some assault rifle ammo.
When you’re done there, head out into the dark West Corridor. Keep following it around and deal with any zombies in your way.
Head into the Operations Room. Carlos’s punch is handy for barging past attacking zombies that get close.
Grab the flashbang, head into the next room and pick up the assault rifle ammo. Now go through the room with the slide lock on the door. There’s a few zombies in here so take them out with your assault rifle.
Resident Evil 3 Remake RCPD West Office
If you head into the West Office from here, there’s a few things worth grabbing. If you want the safe code, check our dedicated Resident Evil 3 safe and locker codes guide and get yourself a Hip Pouch.
There’s also an ID Card case where you can get a Scope for your assault rifle. When you’re done, head down the corridor to the Dark Room safe room.
Grab what you need, rejig your equipment, save, then head up the stairs outside. Head up the next flight of stairs and grab the Key at the top. There’s also a locker ahead – the Third Floor Hallway locker – and the code is DCM.
From there, head down a floor and into the shower room. There’s another locker in here and the code is CAP.
Resident Evil 3 Remake Battery
Now head back down the stairs and use the key on the door opposite the West Office, but be careful of the licker that appears. There are a bunch of lockers you can open in here. Just use the keypad to type in 104, 106, and 109.
Whatever you do, make sure you grab the Battery and watch out for the zombie. Get what you can and then leave the room, heading back upstairs.
Combine the Battery with the Detonator in the shower room and then place it onto the C4.
Kill all the zombies that appear and then empty out the lockers at the end of the room and grab whatever you can. Head through the door into the corridor. Kill the licker and head into the STARS Office.
A cutscene will play and then you’re free to clear out the room of items. Once you’ve picked the room clean, head to the corridor again and you’ll trigger another cutscene.

Resident Evil 3 Remake Nemesis Mod Brings Back Original Character Design
A new Resident Evil 3 Remake has been released today, bringing back the classic design of the main antagonist.
The Nemesis mod brings back the classic Nemesis design, replacing the new model with the one seen in the latest entries in the Marvel Vs Capcom series. More information on the mod can be found on Nexus Mods.
Yesterday, a new trailer has been released online. The trailer focused on main character Jill Valentine, confirming that she will become playable in Resident Evil Resistance after release with an update.
Resident Evil 3 Remake is releasing soon on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A Nintendo Switch version hasn’t been confirmed so far, but it seems like there’s a chance of the game releasing on the console, as references to it and to the eShop have been found in the code. According to other rumors, Capcom may be considering releasing a Cloud Version as they did for Resident Evil VII: Biohazard.
Resident Evil 3 Remake will expand many of the original PlayStation release features, introducing new mechanics that make the experience feel more action-oriented. Also included in the game will be the already mentioned Resident Evil Resistance, an online multiplayer game.
Jill Valentine is one of the last remaining people in Raccoon City to witness the atrocities Umbrella performed. To stop her, Umbrella unleashes their ultimate secret weapon; Nemesis!
Also includes Resident Evil Resistance, a new 1 vs 4 online multiplayer game set in the Resident Evil universe where four survivors face-off against a sinister Mastermind.

Resident Evil 3 Remake – red, green, and blue jewel locations

If you want to increase your inventory space with a Hip Pouch early on, here’s how to track down the Kite Bros Memorial jewels in Resident Evil 3 Remake.
The first gem you’ll come across is the Red Jewel, which is in a Fancy Box inside the safe room of the donut shop. Using this on the memorial near the underground train will get you a grenade.
The second jewel requires the Lockpick, which you need to use on the door to the toy shop Downtown. Grab the Fancy Box from inside, shoot the bobblehead while you’re here, and leave with the Green Jewel. Using this on the Kite Bros Memorial will get you the Tactical Stock (shotgun).
The final jewel is directly opposite the toy shop, inside the liquor store in a Fancy Box. You need the Bolt Cutters to open the door and grab the Blue Jewel. Using this on the memorial will get you a Hip Pouch, increasing your inventory space by two slots.

You can also leave this for your second playthrough, since you can use accumulated EXP to unlock the Bolt Cutters and Lockpick from the start of the game. This makes grabbing the jewels much easier, since you can do it before you’ve got Nemesis chasing you down.
You’ll also get a Trophy/Achievement for your efforts when you place all three jewels into the memorial statue.

hey guys, for all the people who wanted the hookman, the fog version (or the umbrella version (yes it’s all the same stuff nobody ever noticed :O)) the RE4 beta’s.
I am making a ground breaking RE4 mod that completely changes the game and the location of where the game takes place.
were working on RE3.5 mansion (with some changes) the airship from the original trailersrecently revealed content by shinji mikami uploaded revealing a lot about the story, backstory, game setting (location: FRANCE, PARIS, 4 months one day after Raccon city).
a little piece of our side of the story of the mod:the mod will (if i can get it ingame) start with a few short parts of Racoon City (as some kind of a flashback), 4 months later leon finds out where sherry is (she’s been kidnapped by umbrella) he heads to the frensh HQ of umbrella, he gets backup from the person who flies him there, yes ASHLEY. but umbrella sends an agent after leon ,HUNK!!
after he arrives in france, leon finds himself in this little town (almost completely abandonned) ashley is not with you, you went ahead.. in this town you’ll most likely find the only merchant in the mod!! (once again there will be findable (hidden!!) weapons), leon heads over to the mansion. where he finds a few zombies (not much like one maybe two enemy reskins) dogs, (maybe hunters).
eventually you’ll see uroboros (like in the original trailers) then leon gets infected!!
ashely is just like leon infected with the virus, otherwise the ashley vs leon makes no sence (since it’s not a clone of leon)

re3.5 status, help needed
as you all know it’s been a long long time since i posted an update for this project. a long time being over 8 months.
with that said i want to thank everyone for following this mod and cheering me on and waiting and hoping for a release, that in the almost three years that this mod has been on this site, that hasn’t come. and sadly it MIGHT not come at all. which is a shame.
but it MIGHT come. that depends on you guys. i really really really need help with this project or it’ll soon be dead. in the last update from months ago i asked for people to help me. i got responses but they were mostly: i can’t do it, but i hope you find help. don’t take me wrong: i really appreciate all the support and you guys cheering me on. but it won’t help me get any further.
and honestly in the past 8 months i haven’t done ANYTHING.
now i still have all the files and models i showed. i am willing to share those with the people who offer to help me. but if i don’t get anyone to help me, i’m declaring this mod dead on it’s 3rd year “birthday” which is 19 may 2013.
i want to thank everyone who has been rooting and cheering for this mod for the past 2,5 year. i hope people will react, it would be a shame to let this die.. i am open for any sugestions. this mod doesn’t nessecairly have to be for re4. it can be in a different engine.

Resident Evil 3 Remake: Restore Elevator Power, Fuse, Flash Drive, Culture Sample Locations, Vaccine Base Temperature Solution
Escaping the Underground Facility

How do you restore power to the elevator in Resident Evil 3? How do you get the vaccine in Resident Evil 3? We’ll find out in part nine of our Resident Evil 3 remake walkthrough for PS4 along with all the Fuse locations, where to find the Flash Drive and Culture Sample and finally completing the Vaccine Base Temperature Solution.
How To Restore Elevator Power
Starting off in the Office save room, make sure to grab the Hip Pouch next to the Typewriter for two bonus inventory slots (see also: All Hip Pouch Locations). Exit the room, drop down the open ledge in front of you and head towards the elevator.
The power is quickly cut, leaving you to find three different Fuses within the gigantic factory room.
Find The First Fuse
Interact with the only console in this area to bring the lift down, and then get on it while avoiding the Pale Head stalking you. Use the console on the machine itself to head back up and you’ll be right in front of the first Fuse.
Grab it, as well as the Green Herb (see also: All Herb Combinations and Their Effects) and Shotgun Shells to your right, and then climb down the ladder to the left of the Fuse box. The next Fuse box will be to your left once you reach the ground floor, but your path will suddenly be blocked off by a falling bridge.
Proceed through the underground facility
Watch out for the zombie dogs which then spawn and follow the path around until you come across what appears to be a dead end. You’ll be in the right spot when you come across a zombie stood on its own.
Look at the shelving on your left and Jill will spot a narrow gap she can squeeze through. Do so, go up the two flights of stairs, and enter the first door you come across.
Find The Second Fuse
In here will be multiple zombies so try and take them all out with an explosion from your Grenade Launcher. The door with the lock on it leads back to the save room while the one next to it is what leads us to the next Fuse. Head through, climb down the ladder, and grab the next Fuse.
Just beware of the Hunter which will drop down and try to surprise you. From here, head back to where you climbed the two flights of stairs and take the other path available, crossing over lifts which have already been raised.
Interact with the second console you come across to raise a lift, use it cross to your left and take the ladder downstairs.
Find The Third Fuse
The next Fuse is right in front of you, but a lot of zombies and a Hunter Gamma will burst out of the pods nearby when you do.
Jill can’t believe you’ve made it this far, well done!
Make sure you’re prepared for that when it happens. With all of the Fuses now in your inventory, take them all back to the elevator you were originally going to use, inserting them into the box.
Take the elevator up but before you interact with the center screen, head behind the console to find an Extended Barrel for the MAG.
Flash Drive Location
Follow Tyrell until you come to a cutscene. Once you’ve regained control of Jill, head towards the end of the corridor to find a save room with High-Grade Gunpowder and a Green Herb inside.
Exit once you’re ready and head up the stairs to find a Laboratory inside the door at the end of the hallway. Interact with the huge console ahead and Jill will realise that she needs to make the Vaccine herself. Turn right next and grab the Flash Drive from the green console.
Take this back downstairs and use it on the locked door with the red monitor beside it. In here will be a lot of Pale Heads. You can’t kill them, so just aim for the legs to put them temporarily down on the ground. Before going upstairs, pass through the room to the door in the back.
You’ll find Acid Rounds and Gunpowder (see also: All Ammo Crafting Combinations) in here, while downstairs there’s a First Aid Spray. When you’re ready, push the red machine back into its socket. Don’t go through there just yet, however.
Jill must find the vaccine to end all this
Where to find Culture Sample
Double back to the Pale Head room and go up the stairs to find a new room with which will give you the Culture Sample as well as Handgun Ammo and Gunpowder. This is what will help form the Vaccine so it’s a very important item. Now, head back all the way downstairs to the room where we just activated the door.
Vaccine Base Temperature Solution
Head through the lab containing test tubes of Hunters and other things and use the elevator to go up. Follow the path around, staying wary of the multiple enemies which are about to appear, and grab the Liquid-filled Test Tube from the green drawer.
Combine this with the Culture Sample in your inventory and you’ll have the Vaccine Base. Take this back to the Vaccine Equipment, but beware of the numerous Hunters which are about to break out of their tanks on the level below.
You’ve got quite the fight coming up as well as a tricky trip back through the Pale Head room.
Once you reach the Vaccine Equipment upstairs, insert the Vaccine Base. You’ll now need to adjust the temperature of each chamber. The sequence you’re looking for, from left to right, is Mid, High, Low. You’ll get the Vaccine for your troubles.
That brings us to the end of part nine of our Resident Evil 3 remake walkthrough, to continue from here you need part ten: Escape the Facility, Defeat Nemesis (Final Encounter), Take Back The Vaccine.

Successfully complete Real Survivor mode to unlock Invisible Enemy mode. In this mode, all enemies are invisible.
Successfully complete the game to unlock Once Again. mode.
One Dangerous Zombie mode
Successfully complete the game with both Chris and Jill on the Normal or higher difficulty on the same saved game file to unlock One Dangerous Zombie mode. In this mode, zombified STARS member Forest Speyer will appear with grenades strapped to his vest. If you shoot him, the game will instantly be over.
Successfully complete the game on the Normal difficulty to unlock Real Survivor mode. In this mode, all item crates are not linked.
Successfully complete the game on the Normal or Hard difficulty in less than three hours to unlock the rocket launcher with unlimited ammunition.
Successfully complete the game on the Normal or Hard difficulty in less than five hours to unlock the Samurai Edge with unlimited ammunition.
Successfully complete the game while rescuing two STARS members. After the credits end, the phrase “You’ve got the special key” will appear on the screen. Save the game, then start the game that was just saved. Enter the room with the large mirror on the second floor of the mansion. Unlock the door in the back. Enter the closet, and go all the way to the end of the rack of clothes. A message asking “There is an outfit that fits you perfectly, do you want to put it on?” will appear. Select “Yes” to change your character’s outfit. Note: To change change costumes with Rebecca, first have Chris open the closet door with the Special Key. Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding costume:
Chris’ Code Veronica costume: Successfully complete the game twice with Chris. Chris’ or Rebecca’s The Mexican costume: Successfully complete the game once with Chris or Rebecca. Jill’s Resident Evil 3 costume: Successfully complete the game twice with Jill. Jill’s Sarah Connor costume: Successfully complete the game once with Jill.
Chris can save ammunition when fighting Plant 42 by using the combat knife. It only require approximately 12 hits with the knife to kill it.
Logging onto the computer
To log in to the computer in the lab, and unlock the B1 and B2 areas, use the following passwords:
1st: John 2nd: Ada 3rd: Cell
The following herb mixtures are possible, and give the indicated effect. Note: You cannot mix more than one Blue or Red Herb in a mixture, and you cannot add a Red Herb or Blue Herb to two Green Herbs already mixed together.
Green: Heals 25% of health Green + Green: Heals 60% of health or randomly heals 8% (Danger only) Green + Green + Green: Heals 100% of health Green + Red: Heals 100% of health Green + Blue: Heals 25% health and heals poison, or randomly restore 40% (Danger only) Green + Green + Blue: Heals 60% health and heals poison, or randomly heal 80% (Danger only) Green + Red + Blue: Heals 100% health and heals poison
While playing as Chris or Jill, stand behind the statue in the room above the dining room. When the zombies come up on the other side, they will try to walk through the statue, allowing you to easily knife them to death.
While playing as Jill at the beginning of the game, do not shoot the first zombie that is standing over Kenneth’s body. Instead, run into the dining room. Barry will speak to Jill before the zombie comes though the door. Barry will shoot it three times, blowing off its head.
Play on the Easy difficulty. When you have to enter the passwords into the computer in the Laboratory at the end, enter “MOLE” to hear a special message from Tofu.
Successfully complete Invisible mode in five hours or less to view the following developer message in the credits:
Easy “Bravo, Rebecca” achievement
Save Richard with the Serum. While facing the snake, allow it bite you in order to get poisoned. After leaving the room, Rebecca will appear and take the Serum for Chris.
Easy “Every Nook And Cranny” achievement
It is possible to visit all places on all maps while trying to get the good ending. You must pick up everything in all maps. The map has an indicator, and a room becomes green once it is completely cleared. Do not leave any uncleared room. Note: Make sure not to miss an ammo box (grenades with Jill or shotgun shells with Chris) that becomes reachable only after you liberate your partner.
Easy “The Survival Horror” achievement
This must be done in a single game session. Take note of where you put useful items to save time when backtracking. Play as Jill to have access to eight item slots. Play smartly and plan ahead to avoid as much damage as possible. Save the game before dangerous areas.
Easy “What A Great Guy” achievement
Pick up the shotgun, leave the room (without using the broken shotgun), and Barry will appear to save Jill.
Accomplish the indicated achievement to get the corresponding number of Gamerscore points:
Like Taking Candy from a Baby (10 points): Finish the game on Very Easy difficulty or higher. Not in the Mood to Die (10 points): Finish the game on Easy difficulty or higher. Take that, Zombies! (20 points): Finish the game on Normal difficulty or higher. We’re in This Together (30 points): Finish the game with Jill and Chris. Alpha Team’s Finest (30 points): Finish the game using Jill. Get Used To It (10 points): Die for the first time. First Kills Are Special (10 points): Defeat a zombie. Not Taking Any Chances (10 points): Burn up a zombie. Capcom Teasing Resident Evil 3: Nemesis Remake?
The video game publisher and developer Capcom talks about the possibility of creating a remake of the 1999 survival-horror release, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.
Several weeks ago, the video game publisher and developer Capcom revealed its intentions to create even more remakes of its properties after the forthcoming multi-platform release of the new Resident Evil 2. Now, it looks as if the third entry in the long-running survival-horror franchise could eventually see its own updated version come to be in the future, as the company recently talked about the possibility of the original 1999 PlayStation game getting a remake, too.
According to Resident Evil 2 Game Director Kazunori Kadoi and Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, Capcom could be leaving the door open to a Resident Evil 3: Nemesis remake once the RE2 remake officially hits store shelves. When asked about the prospect of Capcom giving RE3: Nemesis the remake treatment, Kadoi and Hirabayashi said, “We are currently focused on Resident Evil 2 remake, getting it out of the door and seeing how everyone receives it in January, but who knows what the future holds.”
While this doesn’t necessarily confirm that a Resident Evil 3: Nemesis remake is in the works, it does show that Capcom is keeping an open mind about the third entry being revised and re-released for contemporary players. So far, droves of survival-horror fans have been practically drooling over all of the assets released thus far for the Resident Evil 2 remake, indicating that there’s definitely a large and willing audience who would be excited to see what Capcom could do with RE3: Nemesis as well.
All things considered, we will simply have to wait and see if Capcom decides to officially announce a Resident Evil 3: Nemesis remake project getting green lit. It’s definitely not too far outside the realm of possibility, but a new RE3: Nemesis likely won’t come to pass if the RE2 remake doesn’t succeed financially. Nevertheless, with the latter having been named Best of Show at E3 2018, it definitely stands a fair chance at becoming a blockbuster.

Resident Evil 3 Remake will feature some big changes over the original PlayStation release, Capcom confirmed today.
During the latest Capcom TV episode, as summarized by ResetERA forums member Dusk Golem, Producer Masachika Kawata confirmed that Resident Evil 3 Remake will be different from the original, with some story events possible being dramatically changed. The main goal with Resident Evil 2 Remake was to be as faithful as possible to the original, but with the remake of the third entry in the series, Capcom wants to make the characters more interesting.
In this regard, it’s being confirmed that Dario will have a much bigger role in the game, compared to the original. Additionally, the Hunter Beta enemy will be present in the game, but it will look much different, as it is being reimagined for the new gameplay style.
RE3 Remake has been announced last week for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Like the original, the game will star Jill Valentine as she tries to survive the outbreak of the T-virus in Racoon City.
Resident Evil 3 Remake is set amidst the nightmarish outbreak of the T-virus, a biological weapon developed by the pharmaceutical company Umbrella Corporation. The game marks the debut of Nemesis – a towering humanoid bioweapon designed for both brutality and high-functioning intelligence – whose dogged hunt of S.T.A.R.S. member Jill Valentine made him an icon of the Resident Evil™ series. Armed with an arsenal of high-powered weaponry and wrapped in a black suit to hide his mutilated features, Nemesis will maim, pulverize or destroy any obstacle on the path to his target.

Like many great games, RE6 has minor design niggles, but the overall experience is so amazing and rich that they’re easily forgivable because none of them are really significant. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas had some horrid, frustrating missions, and I wouldn’t hesitate to give it 10/10, so I don’t hesitate to give this game 10/10 either.
