In Cyberpunk 2077 you own cars and motorbikes, but there are flying vehicles on the game. A natural question is whether you can actually drive them around Night City yourself.

The topic came up as we interviewed CD Projekt RED producer Richard Borzymowsky today at Gamescom. We were talking about a helicopter that appears in the latest demo gunning down someone in an apartment building far in the background.

Borzymowsky took the chance to talk about flying vehicles.

“When it comes to actually driving vehicles, we have cars in the game, we have motorcycles in the game, and players can own those vehicles and store them in their garage.

But when it comes to flying vehicles, we’re just doing that in dedicated story missions.”

Asked to clarify, Borzymoswski explained.

“There are flying vehicles in the universe, and we’re using them in the right part of the story”

At this point I had to ask to make sure “Can we drive them?” Borzymoswski answered:

“In the story maybe, you will have to have to find out.”

While this isn’t a full-fledged confirmation, it’s certainly a lot better than a flat-out “no.”

Of course, you should stay tuned for the full interview, coming soon on Twinfnite.

If you want to learn more about Cyberpunk 2077, you can read how character creation can impact the story, every way V can kill someone, and, if you prefer peaceful means, how you can play the whole game without ending anyone.

Luckily, you don’t have to wait too long to watch the nwest gameplay demo for yourself, as it’s going to be publicly showcased around PAX West. You can also get some cool info on some spiffy details directly from the developers, alongside more details on vehicles and their radios, info on life paths, more on the Nanowires, and take a look at some great renders of the main characters, and the latest screenshots.

Lastly, you can check out the trailer released a few weeks ago showcasing plenty of cinematics and the participation of Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand, alongside a brief gameplay teaser, some really beautiful artwork, and the in-game song “Chippin’ In” by SAMURAI.

Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 16, 2020.

Cyberpunk 2077 Vehicles Are Summoned Like Roach From The Witcher 3

By Eric Garrett – June 17, 2019 05:13 pm EDT

The experience that comes along with Cyberpunk 2077 is certainly going to be a departure from what fans are used to seeing in CD Projekt Red’s games. While a lot of this will be contributed to the fact that it is entirely two different franchises with different characters, but the settings are near-polar opposites. That said, there will be some elements in Cyberpunk 2077 that fans of The Witcher series might recognize, one of which is how players will summon their vehicles. According to lead quest designer Pawel Sasko, this will be done in a fashion that is reminiscent of how players in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt summon Roach.

During a recent interview with VG247, Sasko discussed the vehicles that will be featured in Cyberpunk 2077. Most importantly, they touched on how these futuristic vehicles will interact with players and what will happen if one leaves their car behind on their adventure. “The same that happens with Roach,” Sasko said. “So basically, because those cars are equipped with AI, if you call it, you can see the car driving towards you. So you can see when it arrives, basically. You can see as your motorcycle arrives, you can see as your car arrives. So you can just leave it wherever you want, it can go somewhere, just call it, and AI makes it like ‘bzzt!’, he drives by and waits for you.”

This will definitely be an interesting aspect as players traverse Night City. Sasko also noted how players will be able to build a collection of vehicles as their apartments will come with large garages. “We’re still discussing, you know, if you can own all the cars, or some of the cars, because there are a few gameplay things, because the driving model for the cars, it just has to be crisp,” Sasko said. “It’s going to be plenty. And thing is that you can swap those cars, so you can decide ‘okay that’s my main car, that’s my motorcycle that I’m driving with’.”

Cyberpunk 2077 is currently in development for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and it will be releasing on April 16, 2020. For more information about the highly anticipated game, check out some of our previous coverage.

Cyberpunk 2077 might have flyable cars and vehicles

CD Projekt RED might let us fly around in cars and skybikes in Cyberpunk 2077

Details on Cyberpunk 2077 are less than scarce, but a new job listing from CD Projekt RED hints that we’ll be able to take control of our own aerial vehicles and fly around the game’s futuristic open-world cyberpunk cities.

CD Projekt RED is currently hiring a Vehicle Gameplay Programmer that will design Cyberpunk 2077’s futuristic flying ships and cars. “The person in this position will cooperate with Gameplay & Level Designers teams to create the whole architecture of vehicle related code, and the physics of driving / flying in those vehicles,” reads the listing.

Based on the way the listing is worded, it sounds like players will be able to actually pilot said vehicles in the game. The developers aren’t any strangers to vehicles: Geralt can use a number of locomotion in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, including riding on horseback or slicing through the waters in a sailboat. But horseback and sailing are very different than three-dimensional aerial flight, and it’ll be interesting to see how the devs pull this off.

CD Projekt RED is diving deep into Cyberpunk 2077’s development (they now have more people working on the cyberpunk shooter than Witcher 3), and it’s a good thing too: the studio says the sci-fi game will be the biggest and most ambitious project they’ve ever tackled.

“Cyberpunk is far bigger than anything else that CD Projekt Red has done before. Far, far bigger. We’re really stepping into the unknown in terms of complexity and size and problems we encounter,” Visual Effects Artist Jose Teixeira said in an interview with MCV.

The Polish studio will also use everything they’ve learned from The Witcher 3 and apply it to Cyberpunk 2077, which is a massively positive sign that the game will be just as amazing as Geralt’s fantasy masterpiece.

“The Witcher helped Cyberpunk quite a bit, because the game got so big and so complex that it really taught us. We really didn’t know what was going to happen. If anything, working on The Witcher 3 was a really good and often brutal learning experience. Cyberpunk is going to benefit greatly from it. I can almost guarantee it. I have a lot of things that I want to change and do better the next time around, and I can guarantee that almost everyone in that studio has something that they go ‘I did this this time, next time I can do it differently, I can do it better,'” Teixeira concluded.

Contrary to popular opinion, you won’t have to wait until 2077 to play the game: Cyberpunk 2077 and another separate AAA RPG will be released by 2021.

Cyberpunk 2077’s vehicles will come when you call, just like Geralt’s horse

No more worrying about where you parked.

In The Witcher games, Geralt rides a horse named Roach who, among other things, is always nearby and comes a-runnin’ when Geralt whistles. Thanks to the magic of self-driving cars, which like everything else have advanced considerably over the decades, something very similar (but less equine) will be available to V when they need a ride in Cyberpunk 2077.

“Basically, because those cars are equipped with AI, if you call it, you can see the car driving towards you. So you can see when it arrives, basically,” lead quest designer Pawel Sasko told VG247. “You can see as your motorcycle arrives, you can see as your car arrives. So you can just leave it wherever you want, it can go somewhere, just call it, and AI makes it like ‘Bzzt!’, he drives by and waits for you.”

A cinematic take on that mechanic can be seen in the Cyberpunk 2077 trailer that was released at E3, when V and his partner make a hasty getaway under fire. Letting Jarvis do the driving isn’t as cool has cranking the wheel around personally, but there are times when practicality has to take priority over looking good—like, for instance, when you’re getting shot at—and I think we can all agree that not having to remember where you parked can be a pretty big upside, too.

In the same interview, Sasko said that players will actually be able to collect vehicles and store them in a parking garage, with one selected as your “main,” that presumably being the one that will pull your ass out of the fire when you call for help. CD Projekt hasn’t decided yet whether you’ll be able to own all the cars or if there will be a cap, but Sasko said that “it’s going to be plenty.” Sadly, the flying cars won’t be among them.

Cyberpunk 2077 Will Have A Mad Max: Fury Road-Inspired Car

Mad Max: Fury Road turned five years old yesterday (May 15th). George Miller — the movie’s director — has a lot to be proud of with this film. Tom Hardy as Max was the perfect casting and Charlize Theron was just as amazing in her role as warrior Furiosa.

The movie is beloved by many around the world, including Cyberpunk 2077’s developer CD Projekt Red. In fact, to pay tribute to this five year mark, they made a special announcement on the game’s official Twitter page.

They revealed a car that will be appearing in this upcoming sci-fi RPG called Reaver, which pays tribute to Max’s V8 Interceptor car that was featured in the most recent movie.

Looking at the model featured in the Twitter reveal, it looks spot on from what Max was driving in the film. This latest reveal is just another reason to get excited for Cyberpunk 2077, which has a September release date.

Only a couple of more months before players can hit up Night City and get lost in the endless content. As far as driving around, the Reaver seems like an incredible vehicle to use. It’s said to have 1,000 horsepower, featuring an aggressive body style and tires.

And according to the lead quest designer Pawel Sasko, players will get to take the Reaver to a desert area called the Badlands.

That’s great news for Mad Max fans looking to relive some of the epic scenes in Cyberpunk 2077. It’s great seeing both of these franchises merging together. This game has received so many epic surprises already, from Keanu Reeves’ appearance as Johnny Silverhand to Elon Musk’s Cybertruck being a driveable vehicle.

Cyberpunk 2077 really seems like an RPG full of endless possibilities. Now players just need to take it for a spin to see what epic action is in store.

So far, CD Projekt Red has done a great job at marketing the game and keeping the buzz going. Based on their trailers and surprise reveals, this is going to be a game for the ages.

It just has so many things going for it leading up to its official September release. Night City looks like a playground full of so much mayhem to get into, while the character augmentation diversity should give players many ways to approach the addicting combat.

It’s rare that a game receives this much attention and spotlight, but at the moment, it’s well deserved.

Cyberpunk 2077 Could Feature Drivable Vehicles and Flyable Planes

A new juicy detail about the secretive Cyberpunk 2077 has been seen in a job listing. CD Projekt Red is currently searching for senior vehicle artists for their future sci-fi RPG.

E3 happened this year without a glimpse of CD Projekt Red’s next project: Cyberpunk 2077. Instead of revealing more details about it, the Polish studio went full-on with Gwent, their standalone card game. Cyberpunk 2077 was announced back in 2012 with a pretty luring trailer but since then we have been totally busy with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (which, by the way, already got a GOTY Edition for all platforms). It’s only now that some sparks of unofficial details appear here and there, enough to keep the interest flowing. Especially considering that The Witcher experience is finished as of now with the release of their last DLC, Blood and Wine.

CD Projekt Red already said that there won’t be anything to show about Cyberpunk 2077 until 2017 or 2018. Their secretiveness is legendary, on the other hand. However, browsing through their job postings has led to an interesting discovery: the presence of drivable vehicles and planes. According to one of their job offers, they are searching for a senior vehicle artist capable of creating “incredibly complex vehicles, planes, bikes, robots and mechanics.” And it seems that we may be able to drive/pilot them. Which is a pretty logical gameplay addition if you think that Cyberpunk 2077 will also be an open world title.

The Witcher 3 already incorporated this feature with Geralt’s mare. With a little bit of polishing, driving and flying through the futuristic and somewhat grim atmosphere of Cyberpunk is a very attractive possibility overall.

What do we Know about Cyberpunk 2077?

Cyberpunk 2077 is a futuristic open world RPG drawn from the tabletop hit from R. Talsorian Games. According to CD Projekt Red, the scope of their next title is massive. And by that we mean, even bigger than that of The Witcher 3. It has been said to happen in a dark future in 2077 where advanced technologies have become “both the salvation and the curse of humanity.” The location we saw in the trailer is Night City, a vicious metropoly bursting with different nationalities and quandaries. On top of the single-player story, the studio has also confirmed that the game will come with a multiplayer mode.

Cyberpunk 2077 was originally announced for PC only. But it could well be that we’ll see the title expanding to other platforms. As for a realistic time frame, you should not expect it any time soon. As CD Projekt Red already told us from the very beginning, it will come “when it’s ready.”

Cyberpunk 2077 to feature drivable vehicles and planes

Viewing the job listing for Cyberpunk 2077, the next big RPG from the creators of the Witcher series, reveals that the game will feature all sorts of drivable vehicles and machines.

CD Projekt RED are very stingy when it comes to sharing new information about Cyberpunk 2077, their upcoming RPG, which is said to be bigger and better than their previous hit The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. However, they couldn’t prevent the Internet community from viewing their job offers, which reveal some tasty details on the game. One of them, for a senior vehicle artist, mentions the need for modeling “incredibly complex vehicles, planes, bikes, robots and mechanics”. Another one says that the vehicles will by drivable/flyable and have different handling models.

In the recent years, vehicles or other means of transport have become a necessity in big open world games. However, up until now CD Projekt RED’s only experience in this matter is Roach, Geralt’s horse from The Witcher 3. Although it has been fixed since the release, originally the poor mare would act strangely on many occasions, especially when it bumped into obstacles. We believe that the studio have learned much since that time and are going to deliver a truly professional vehicle gameplay. So far, Cyberpunk 2077 has been announced for PC only (but will probably hit consoles too), and it has no release time window – the game is coming out “when it’s done”.

Cyberpunk 2077 Vehicles Will Come When Called, But No Flying Cars

Home » Cyberpunk 2077 » Cyberpunk 2077 Vehicles Will Come When Called, But No Flying Cars

The many cars and bikes that you’ll be able to drive and collect in your garage will come with AI installed. As a result, you’ll be able to call your ride over if you’ve left it behind. And/or need to make a quick escape. The same won’t be true for flying cars, though, nor boats. Not that there won’t be any flying cars nor boats in the game. It’s not even like you won’t be in a flying vehicle at some point. They’re just not gonna be your main mode of transportation.

To the surprise of I assume nobody, your vehicle in Cyberpunk 2077 will come to you when summoned. According to what lead quest designer Pawel Sasko told VG24/7, all the cars and bikes come equipped with AI. So, you call it over, and it’ll come to you. You can even watch it as it arrives. I’m not gonna lie, I am really hoping that it’s gonna have the same glitches as Roach in The Witcher 3. Can you imagine summoning your car, and finding it instead embedded into the fortieth floor of a high-rise?

Oh, and you’ll also be able to build up a collection of vehicles in your garage, kinda like in GTA. However, there will be certain types of transportation that you won’t be able to pilot. For example, boats. As Sasko said to VG24/7: “…boats are a part of the game but you cannot drive the boat.” You will be able to swim, though. The same rules apply to flying vehicles as to boats: “…there are moments when you are in the flying vehicle but you cannot drive it yourself over the city.” However, unlike traversing water, I doubt you’ll be able to fly on your own.

Sasko couldn’t go further into details to avoid spoiling the story. So, if you wanna know more about boats, flying, and vehicles in the game in general, it seems like you’re just gonna have to play the game. Cyberpunk 2077 is coming out on April 16th, 2020, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Before that, though, we’ll get to see the E3 2019 gameplay footage at PAX West.

Cyberpunk 2077 Dev Talks About Cars & Bikes, Your Garage, and Your Radio

Home » News » Cyberpunk 2077 Dev Talks About Cars & Bikes, Your Garage, and Your Radio

While Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t Grand Theft Auto, cars and motorbikes will play an important role in the game.

In order to provide more information on the topic, CD Projekt RED released a brief video starring Lead Quest Designer Pawel Sasko.

We learn that you’ll be able to own multiple cars and bikes and store them in your garage. On top of that each comes equipped with a radio that lets you listen to the music you prefer.

You can check it out below.

You can call your Cyberpunk 2077 vehicles like The Witcher 3’s Roach

By Kirk McKeand, Monday, 17 June 2019 09:21 GMT

Cyberpunk 2077 lets you collect a range of cars and motorcycles and also allows you to take any vehicle you can see in the game. But what happens when you leave your main ride behind?

“The same that happens with Roach,” lead quest designer Pawel Sasko explained during our E3 interview.

Each apartment you own also has a huge garage, allowing you to build up your collection of futuristic whips, earmarking your favourite as your ‘main’ vehicle. CD Projekt is still currently deciding how many cars and bikes the game will have, since they all need to feel different and they all need to feel good – some won’t make the cut.

Cyberpunk 2077 Will Let Players Summon Their Vehicles

CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 will allow the player to summon their vehicles similar to the way players are able to summon Roach in The Witcher 3. Players won’t need to run around endlessly trying to find where they parked their cars, only to remember at the last second that it’s just down the street. Since Cyberpunk 2077 is set in the future, the vehicles in-game can make use of on-board artificial intelligence to drive themselves to the player’s location.

Pawel Sasko, Lead Quest Designer on Cyberpunk 2077, went into detail about in-game vehicle summoning:

So basically, because those cars are equipped with AI, if you call it, you can see the car driving towards you. So you can see when it arrives, basically. You can see as your motorcycle arrives, you can see as your car arrives. So you can just leave it wherever you want, it can go somewhere, just call it, and AI makes it like “bzzt!,” he drives by and waits for you.

It was also revealed that every apartment in-game will have a garage for players to store multiple vehicles, and that players will be able to set a certain vehicle as their main mode of transportation if they have become particularly attached to one. CD Projekt RED is still working out some details and deciding just how many vehicles players can own, to ensure everything is as polished as possible in time for the game’s release on April 16, 2020.

Sasko further clarified this by saying:

We’re still discussing, you know, if you can own all the cars, or some of the cars, because there are a few gameplay things, because the driving model for the cars, it just has to be crisp. It’s going to be plenty. And thing is that you can swap those cars, so you can decide “okay that’s my main car, that’s my motorcycle that I’m driving with.”

Are you excited that you will be able to summon your vehicle in Cyberpunk 2077? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below! If you haven’t had a chance to pre order the game yet, you can purchase Cyberpunk 2077 on Amazon.

Cyberpunk 2077 Reiterates Players Cannot Control Flying Cars and Boats

When players jump into Cyberpunk 2077, they’re going to interact with hordes of futuristic technology that paints the long-awaiting future as a dirty, dark place. Although, a familiar stable that’s going to show up in the game about the future is flying cars. Players are going to see them dashing inside the city, and they’re even going to be able to get inside one during missions. However, players are not going to have the chance to control these vehicles at all, even during the quests, and the same goes for boats.

The lead quest designer for Cyberpunk 2077, Pawel Sasko, spoke with VG24/7 about the title and talked about how players are not going to control the flying cars during missions. This direction leads many to conclude that when players are in these vehicles, they’re going to serve as passenger firing out the window, or attempting to help in some other fashion. When players are on the ground, exploring the open-world in their free time, there’s only going to be regular cars and motorcycles for recreational use.

“There are flying vehicles that are like the story elements, and so there will be moments when V is in the flying vehicle, but they’re always story-focused,” Sasko told VG24/7 during an interview at E3 2019. “I would have to spoil you a bit of the story, I don’t want to, but there are moments when you are flying in the vehicle, but you cannot drive it yourself over the city. For that, you have all kinds of cars, all kinds of motorcycles. It feels pretty good, actually, to be honest.”

We learned this information during last year’s E3. It seems CD Projekt Red wants to make sure everyone is aware of this information because no one has had the chance to play the game yet. It’s an unfortunate choice, although it makes sense.

The same does go for boats, while we’re on the topic. Players are going to have the opportunity to take their character for a swim, but are unable to control any of the boats they jump from in the game.

“There are boats in the game, definitely, and there are even some story elements focused around the boats – don’t want to spoil the story too much. But definitely, boats are a part of the game but you cannot drive the boat,” Sasko informed VG24/7. “You can swim, but I would like not to disclose anything! We had some quests in The Witcher that were focused around water and doing stuff around the water, and we have something here as well.”

It looks like there’s going to be plenty for players to try for themselves in Cyberpunk 2077, with a handful of limitations. Despite these choices, the title still feels like an expansive adventure.

For those interested, the public is going to get its first chance to try the Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay demo at this year’s PAX West, which takes place from August 30 to September 2. You can pick up your tickets here.

Cyberpunk 2077 releases on April 14, 2020, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the PC.

CD Projekt RED shows off new Cyberpunk 2077 vehicle: the Reaver

By Florin Bodnarescu Neowin · May 15, 2020 15:04 EDT with 8 comments

Today, in celebration of the fifth anniversary of Mad Max: Fury Road, the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account posted a GIF showcasing a vehicle inspired by that movie.

„Reaver” – custom-built Wraith gang vehicle based on Quadra Type-66 car. With its near 1000 horsepower, you will ride eternal, shiny and chrome.
Happy 5th Anniversary #MadMaxFuryRoad pic.twitter.com/9E0gqJKqV5

Dubbed the Reaver, this is a custom vehicle driven by members of the Wraith gang, whose emblem is a circle filled with skulls, coupled with the name of the gang. This can be seen in the tweet above on the doors of the car, and in case the compression is too much, here’s a clearer Imgur link.

This vehicle is based on a Quadra Type-66 – the same brand as Jackie’s car from the 48-minute gameplay demo – with a massive near 1,000 horsepower figure. It’s been confirmed that what you see above is in-game, which means this is our first look at an environment we haven’t seen much of until today. We got a glimpse of this desert-like territory outside of Night City in that aforementioned 48-minute gameplay demo, but now we can see it in a bit more detail. Dubbed The Badlands, this area is home to two antagonistic factions, the Aldecados, and the already mentioned Wraiths.

Cyberpunk 2077 is coming September 17, but until then, CD Projekt RED has an event planned for June 11 called Night City Wire, where “stuff will be shown”. If you like to see stuff, then that’s what you should be on the lookout for. Furthermore, CDPR’s upcoming title was among the first revealed to be supporting Smart Delivery, which allows folks to buy the Xbox One version and receive the Series X upgrade for free when that’s available and of course, when they upgrade to the next-gen Microsoft console.

Cyberpunk 2077 Will Let You Swim, But You Can’t Drive Flying Cars

It’s cyberpunk, but it’s not that cyberpunk.

Posted By Shubhankar Parijat | On 18th, Jun. 2019 Under News

What is the first thing anyone does when they see a body of water in a game- especially an open world game? Why, they jump in, of course, to see if they will sink or swim. For those looking forward to jumping into the waters of Night City when Cyberpunk 2077 releases, there’s good news- it’ll let you do that.

Speaking with VG247, lead quest designer Pawel Sasko confirmed that not only will there be boats in the game for players to take control of, there will also be sections in the story centred around swimming, though he wouldn’t go into specifics about what those sections will be, so as to avoid spoilers.

“There are boats in the game, definitely, and there are even some story elements focused around the boats – don’t want to spoil the story too much,” said Sasko. “But definitely boats are a part of the game but you cannot drive the boat. You can swim, but I would like not to disclose anything! We had some quests in The Witcher that were focused around water and doing stuff around the water, and we have something here as well.”

Sasko had a bit more information to share as far as vehicles in Cyberpunk 2077 are concerned. Though we know that, true to its cyberpunk setting, the game will have flying vehicles, players won’t be able to pilot these. There were be certain story-specific sections and scenarios where you’ll be in flying cars, but the game won’t let you drive any of these.

“There are flying vehicles that are like the story elements, and so there will be moments when V is in the flying vehicle, but they’re always story-focused,” said Sasko. “I would have to spoil you a bit of the story, I don’t want to, but there are moments when you are in the flying vehicle but you cannot drive it yourself over the city. For that you have all kinds of cars, all kinds of motorcycles. It feels pretty good, actually, to be honest.”

Cyberpunk 2077 is out on April 16, 2020 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. CD Projekt RED recently confirmed that they’ll be releasing the 50 minute-long E3 2019 gameplay demonstration to the public at PAX West in August.

Cyberpunk 2077 could have flying vehicles and multiplayer

The upcoming RPG from CD Projekt Red may have multiplayer features along with vehicle combat, according to recently-posted job advertisements on the game developer’s website.

CD Projekt Red is hiring over 60 new employees for the development of Cyberpunk 2077, including a vehicle gameplay programmer and vehicle gameplay designer.

The descriptions of these open positions imply that the game will feature direct vehicle control and combat.

The responsibilities of the vehicle gameplay programmer include “creating the whole architecture of vehicle related code and the physics of driving / flying in those vehicles”.

Interestingly, a the developer is also seeking a senior multiplayer designer for its Cyberpunk 2077 team.

Although this does not mention the extent and scope of the game’s possible multiplayer features, it does mean that CD Projekt Red will be introducing multiplayer features into Cyberpunk 2077.

Unfortunately, we are unlikely to hear anything official about Cyberpunk 2077 until just before its release, sometime after 2017.

All we have for now is the game’s amazing teaser trailer:

Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay UPDATE: Worrying signs for upcoming CD Projekt release

CYBERPUNK 2077 needs to address this crucial feature before the 2020 launch.

Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay details have been revealed ahead of next year’s release date.

Cyberpunk 2077 is shaping up to be one of this generation’s biggest and best games when it launches on April 16 for PS4 and Xbox One.

With the release date creeping ever closer, new information has started to trickle out about how the game will play.

According to a post on Reddit, the latest edition of Polish magazine PSX Extreme features a ten page article on the upcoming new release.

One of the more exciting announcements is that Cyberpunk 2077 will have a new game plus mode.

Worryingly, however, the same preview suggests that driving vehicles isn’t quite up to scratch.

Likewise, character AI “could be a bit better”, although there’s a good chance both will be improved in time for launch. Fingers crossed that’s the case.

Elsewhere, the game is said to have a deep relationship system for making friends and taking partners.

The skill system, meanwhile, is described as huge. Players will reportedly gain progression points for learning new skills and boosting attributes.

Levelling up certain attributes lets you install specific chips, although players can also improve skills by performing actions more often.

Using one weapon, for example, improves your ability with it. The same is also said to be true for melee and hacking.

Street Cred – which is gained by completing tasks – gives players access to dangerous missions with greater rewards. Speaking of missions, side quests can influence the game’s story and ending.

Unfortunately, however, fans will have to wait a few more weeks for new Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay to be revealed.

According to a hidden message discovered within a Cyberpunk 2077 unboxing video posted by CD Projekt, new gameplay won’t be revealed until Gamescom in August.

Cyberpunk 2077’s April 16 release date was officially revealed during the Xbox E3 conference.

In a bizarre move, the release date was revealed by Keanu Reeves, who will play a character in the game.
