Cyberpunk 2077 gets ray tracing courtesy of Nvidia’s GeForce RTX GPUs
Looks very impressive in 4K on a GeForce RTX graphics card
Cyberpunk 2077 will support ray tracing on GeForce RTX graphics cards, with CD Projekt Red announcing a partnership with Nvidia at E3 2019 to juice up the visuals of the much-anticipated game.
So those who have bought a GeForce RTX card will be able to enjoy realistic lighting and other ray tracing bells and whistles – and maybe even other GPUs, theoretically, although the dedicated RT cores will doubtless be needed to ensure the game runs smoothly.

Nvidia also furnished us with a couple of screenshots to show off what we can expect from ray tracing (at 4K resolution) in Cyberpunk 2077, which you can cast your eye over on this page.
We recently commented that what we saw recently at E3 in terms of Cyberpunk’s graphics didn’t blow us away in quite the same way as a year ago, but these ray tracing pics look very tasty (particularly the lighting and reflections in the top image).

DLSS in the mix?
Whether or not Cyberpunk 2077 will also get DLSS support isn’t clear, but many gamers will be hopeful that this is the case, in order to help the title run smoothly on RTX GPUs if ray tracing is switched on.
DLSS can give a very substantial boost to frame rates, which could be crucial to offset any of the overheads imposed by turning on ray tracing. Indeed, it could be particularly important seeing as this game is shaping up to be a highly demanding title in terms of how taxing the graphics are, even before ray tracing is thrown into the equation.
We’ll just have to wait and see, but it would make sense for Nvidia to make the effort to also include DLSS, given how high-profile this game is. DLSS support alone could be a major driver to get people to pick up RTX graphics cards.
Cyberpunk 2077 has been building up quite the hype storm, fuelled even more of late by Keanu Reeves turning up in the game, and in person at E3.

Cyberpunk 2077’s NPC details revealed and more
With more staff members working on the game than The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt CD Projekt Red brings us a story-driven, open world RPG of the dark future… Cyberpunk 2077.
As we are aware CD Projekt Red’s main strength lies within there handcrafted single player experiences. They have confirmed that they are not going to be artificially extending the playtime by pushing more content into the game. All the content within the game will add to the story-driven experience in a meaningful way giving the player a top class gaming experience.
In an interview it was revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 will launch as an entirely single -player experience. However the team at CD Projekt Red are researching whether the game could have a multiplayer component… They have confirmed however that the main focus is on the single player RPG element of the game.
Miles Tost, Level Designer for CD Projekt RED has stated that the outcomes of side quests could end up influencing the main storyline itself.
“It’s all Interwoven”
His exact words were, “Side quests are great opportunities for us to tell stories of our cyberpunk world. After all, despite not being a part of the main questline, they are still connected to the world and can elaborate on certain parts of it, like the characters,” he said. “So it’s all interwoven. And yes, that also means that our side quests could affect the main story.”
Tost also went on to explain how the police and other NPC’s in the game might respond to any actions taken by the player. From what has been said the experience sounds truly immersive.
Tost said “It’s really important to us to portray a world that you feel a part of, so naturally, the world also has to react to your presence,” he also said. “Regarding this particular example, let me just say the Night City police don’t react lightly to people stepping out of the line. Their cyber implants, as well as advanced weaponry make them not a pushover, either.”
The game does not have a confirmed release date as of yet however could be with us as early as 2019. I personally can not wait for the game, it looks and sounds phenomenal.

Cyberpunk 2077 Releasing On September: Minimum Requirements
Cyberpunk 2077 most anticipated CD Projekt’s Red dystopian title will finally launch on 17th September 2020. We have been longing for this game since last year. The game was originally scheduled for release in last month on April 17,2020 but was delayed because developers needed more time to ” finish play testing, fixing, and polishing,” said officials.
Delay is a good decision by team “It’ll provide us more time to polish and deliver the perfect game” – CD Projekt’s chief executive, Adam Kicinski.
Cyberpunk 2077 will officially release on all the platforms including Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Google Stadia. The title was in development since long and fans were way more excited for it than I am. With the release date being out it is only a matter of time now. Let’s hope release date won’t get pushed because of Covid-19.

CD Projekt Red details specs of PC running the Cyberpunk 2077 E3 demo build
By James Billcliffe, Monday, 18 June 2018 12:02 GMT
After its behind-closed-doors gameplay demo at E3 2018, Cyberpunk 2077 is generating a ton of buzz. To give a better idea of how realistic what was shown in the demo was, developer CD Projekt Red has released the specs of the PC the demo build was running on via their official Discord.
With The Witcher 3, CD Projekt Red have serious form for creating sprawling worlds that feel dense with activity – and Cyberpunk seems to be no exception. In a short panel at E3, some of the Cyberpunk team described the world as being made up of “six unique districts” with a lot of vertical exploration that you can explore both on foot and by car.
That ambition needs to be backed by technology though, and it looks like you’ll need some serious grunt under the hood to get the full Cyberpunk experience.
The Cyberpunk 2077 demo PC specs were:
- CPU – Intel i7-8700K – 3.70Ghz
- Motherboard – Asus ROG Strix Z370-I Gaming
- RAM – G.SKILL Ripjaws V, 2X16GB, 3000Mhz, CL15
- Graphics Card – NVIDIA GeForce GTX1080Ti
- SSD – Samsung 960 PRO 512GB M.2 PCIe
- Power Supply – Corsair SF600 600W
Cyberpunk 2077 will be a first-person only game with no option for a third-person mode – the only times you’ll be able to see your character will be when you’re driving, during cutscenes and in the game’s inventory menu.

CD Projekt Red has already dropped a lot of fascinating info about Cyberpunk 2077 recently, including tons of information on the in-depth character-creation system. But just yesterday, quest director Mataeusz Tomaszkiewicz shed even more light on one of the game’s coolest aspects, telling reporters that the creation system will have the option for gender-neutral characters, although every character will automatically be Christian.
This is a long-overdue victory for both the non-binary community and lovers of the Lord alike!
Speaking with OGN, Tomaszkiewicz emphasized that players will have the choice to create any kind of character they feel truly represents them and their gender identity, but stressed that all players are already represented by Christ.
“We take the concerns of the trans and gender non-binary community very seriously, so we want to do right by them and do it in a respectful way that does not extend to religion,” he told us, adding there’s not just one way to represent your gender, but there is absolutely one way to express yourself in spirituality. “Ultimately, Christ is the only true path to religious salvation, and Cyberpunk will reflect that.”
He added: “We wanted to give gamers maximum customizability as they explore Night City, except in the category of religion. That question has been answered by Jesus’ ascension. Otherwise, you’re free to play as whoever you want. Just make sure to drop to your knees once daily in-game to praise the one true Christian God.”
Tomaszkiewicz did tell OGN that as the game’s universe will include numerous other gender-fluid characters, there will also be some non-Protestant Christian representation within the world, such as Catholic, Muslim, and Jewish characters, which have prominent antagonistic roles attempting to drive you from the path of the Lord.
This is certainly exciting news for gamers everywhere. We can’t wait to see how else CD Projekt Red champions inclusion and spreads the gospel of Jesus Christ!
Cyberpunk 2077 Will Have ‘Incredibly Complex Vehicles, Planes, Bikes And Robots’
More details emerge on the upcoming RPG.
Posted By Shubhankar Parijat | On 26th, Nov. 2017 Under News
Development for CD Projekt RED’s next big game, Cyberpunk 2077, is moving along quite nicely, it seems. Lately, we’ve been getting increased updates on the game, and now we’ve got one more. The Polish studio has written a post about a job opening for a “Vehicles Artist”- and then posted about that on their official Twitter page as well.
As per the job opening, they’re looking for someone who can design “incredibly complex vehicles”, ranging across everything from planes and bikes to robots and other mechanical stuff, which will then “appear in the dark streets of Night City” in Cyberpunk 2077. As their new Vehicles Artist, the applicant will be tasked with “modeling all kinds of complex futuristic vehicles and robots”, among other things, while one of the several requirements for the job is a “deep understanding of mechanical engineering and design”.
Given what CD Projekt RED did with The Witcher 3, we’re expecting them to put a great deal of effort into detailing their vehicles and robots. We’re curious to see just how well they manage to pull it off.
Recently, CD Projekt RED responded to reports that Cyberpunk 2077 might be following a Games as Service model, and it was beautiful stuff. Check it out here.
Cyberpunk 2077 for PC is a first-person shooter game, but one with a difference. Set in a dystopian Free State of California, the rules of the nation and the state no longer apply. Instead, playing as a mercenary named V, the player must work their way around the city, attaining their goals and battling enemies as they go.
About the Game
Seven years in the making, Cyberpunk 2077 looks to be living up to all the hype generated by its introduction at E3 in 2019.
Set fifty-seven years after the table-top game upon which it is based, Cyberpunk 2020, the graphics are exquisitely rendered with characters, scenery and even actions and movements so realistic that they could be mistaken for movie footage.
As you play through the narrative driven game, it is possible to play without killing any other characters, using non-lethal weaponry and strategies that keep you out of serious confrontations of the sort that tend to become lethal.
The game features full nudity, as players are able to upgrade their bodies with modifications that give them extra powers and capabilities, and they need to strip down in order to fit their new limbs and attachments.
One of the biggest unique selling points of this game is the fact that Keanu Reeves is heavily featured in the game. He plays a character called Johnny Silverhand, who is the lead singer from a band, Samurai, whose songs contain lyrics relevant to V’s state of mind and his life.
Silverhand, an original character from the table-top game, is dead in this time, but ‘lives’ in V’s head. This means that the character has more lines of dialogue than any other character save V, who is the protagonist.
Reeves was a surprise unveiling when the third trailer dropped, and gave the release date to excited fans, keen to get to grips with the latest offering from CD PROJEKT RED, famous for giving us the beloved Witcher games.
Ways to Play
- Skills: You can play your way through the game, relishing the agility that V has on his or her feet (the character is fully customisable as to clothing, gender, size and so much more), racking up a high kill rate as you dodge from behind walls or vehicles to take down your enemies as quickly and accurately as you can.
- Smart Rifle: Using the Smart Rifle is a good way to target your enemy. Simply lock on to their avatar, then send a bullet after them. The bullet will pursue the character until it catches up with them. An efficient way to rid yourself of nuisances while getting on with the rest of your mission.
- No Kill: There is no moral code on the game, meaning that you can storm through the game killing anyone and everyone who annoys you if that is the way that you like to play. However, there is no need to kill anyone at all. Challenge yourself to work through the game in a non-violent way, trading and dealing with non-playing characters (known as NPCs).
NPCs are important to the game – take Johnny Silverhand as a case in point – and you can interact with them, befriending and even marrying them. Therefore, the no-kill play method can open up a whole new world for you, introducing you to characters and their backstories in a way that you will not experience should you simply blast them out of your way.
There is no fixed aim for the game. Instead V must travel around the city, working to find health points and mods, avoiding or killing villains and generally just living their best life. Think of it as a world away from the real world: somewhere that you can be someone a little different.
Cyberpunk 2077 for PC is available for purchase on Instant Gaming for a fraction of its retail price. You will receive an official key and be able to play the game in seconds. Play smart. Pay less.

CD Projekt Red details size of Cyberpunk 2077 map
Flat square footage in Cyberpunk 2077’s map only tells a piece of the story when it comes to how expansive this open-world will be.
You didn’t think Cyber Monday and Cyber Week would go by without some Cyberpunk news, did you? If you did, that’s fine because they’re completely unrelated, but CD Projekt Red delivered anyway. The latest bit of news is about the makeup of Cyberpunk 2077’s open world, the verticality, and activities found within.
VG24/7 reports via PlayStationLifestyle that CD Projekt Red has stated that Cyberpunk 2077’s map will be “huge” and feature a plethora of urban buildings filled with “a lot of activities.” The reveals come from a response the team made to a fan inquiry about how the game’s world will compare to Witcher 3, which was filled with quality distractions. The full response is below:
“Night City holds 6 districts, but I can’t give you an exact number in square meters, because no one counted this yet. Also, this is tricky for an urban environment – Night City has lots of buildings and these buildings have floors. You can have 120 square meters of space technically taking up 60m2 of space. In a tall building, and we will have many of them explorable, each floor can house a lot of activities. Floors stack. The Witcher 3 was, in a way, much flatter – the activities were scattered. Here, the world can be huge, but it can be huge upwards, or downwards.”
The previously revealed gameplay demo for Cyberpunk 2077 showed a good bit of the game, including some of the multi-level interiors. A driving segment also showed off a good chunk of very different areas, but isn’t entirely clear if the player moved through a single district or between different ones. Nevertheless, the game is already showing off a lot of space for unique activities.
Cyberpunk 2077 has no release window at this time and is in development for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Stay tuned to Shacknews for additional updates.

UPDATE: In the biggest anticlimax since Prince Andrew ‘retreated’ from public life, Nvidia has revealed the special edition ¬¬gc_id:4050[Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti]¬¬ Cyberpunk 2077 Edition.
If you’re hoping to buy one of these gorgeous-looking CP2077 video cards then you’re all out of luck though. Just 200 of these Cyberpunk 2077 GeForce RTX 2080 Ti’s have been manufactured, with 77 to be given away through an online sweepstake. The remaining 123 RTX 2080 Ti’s will be available in other giveaways and charity auctions.
Am I only one thinking Nvidia cheaped out a bit here by not at least manufacturing 2,077 of these things?
For all intents and purposes, what we’re looking at here is exactly the same as a vanilla GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, this time with a rather fetching yellow shroud adorned with the Cyberpunk 2077 logo.
In order to be in with a chance of winning one of these puppies, you’ll need to #Engage #With #Nvidia #SocialMedia #Channels by following the instructions below:
- Head to GeForce Twitter, Instagram or Facebook pages, and retweet, like or comment on the #RTXOn sweepstakes posts
- Reply to the post you chose by following the prompt and saying something positive about a fellow gamer, tag them, and include #RTXOn in your reply

Original Story: 17-Feb-2020 – Nvidia teases special edition GeForce RTX Cyberpunk 2077 graphics card
Nvidia has set pulses racing with the tease of an all-new GeForce RTX graphics card to tie in specifically with the upcoming launch of ¬¬g_id:4614[Cyberpunk 2077]¬¬.
CD Projekt RED sent a cheeky tweet out to Nvidia GeForce saying “Hey @NvidiaGeForce, what do you think about making a limited edition #Cyberpunk2077 GPU?”, following it up with “Oh c’mon! Don’t tell us you never thought about it…”
Nvidia played ball, telling Cyberpunk to “Stay tuned…” before sharing a heavily blurred image of a special edition GeForce graphics card. It looks as if it’s sporting a neon yellow trim on its shroud, just like the Cyberpunk 2077 logo.
Naturally, the rumour mill is swirling as to what this graphics card could even be, ranging from a proper special edition GeForce RTX 2077 GPU through to simply a modded shroud on an existing GeForce RTX 20 Series video card, perhaps a custom version of the ¬¬gc_id:4552[Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8GB]¬¬.
One thing to consider is that since Cyberpunk 2077 was delayed to September 2020, a 20 Series GPU possibly may not cut it. Nvidia’s next-gen GeForce graphics cards are expected to be out around then, so this could potentially even be tied in with Ampere.
What do you think it could be then? Is Nvidia cooking up a next-gen video card to tie in with CP2077? Or do you think this simply a limited edition version of a current graphics card? Let us know!
Cyberpunk 2077 Lets Your Character Have Sex In First Person And Change ‘Sizes And Combinations’ Of Genitals
We already know Cyberpunk 2077 won’t hold back on its adult content, but we didn’t know CD Projekt would let us have sex in 1st person or even customize genitals.
We already knew that Cyberpunk 2077 was going to be a sexually explicit game. The development studio itself, CD Projekt RED, has spoken on more than one occasion about how they are approaching the subject in the game, and recently we saw how the Brazilian rating system classified it as “over 18” for containing explicit sexual representations. What we did not know was how graphical and extensive these representations would be.
There are almost no holds barred when it comes to showing adult content in Cyberpunk 2077
Apparently, and according to another age rating agency, Cyberpunk 2077 is so authentic with respect to human anatomy that it will allow you to personalize the genital attributes of V, the protagonist of the game. Within the character editor, we can not only select the most common physical features (face, head shape, complexion, etc. ) but we can also choose the shape and size of the chest, buttocks, and even genitals.
Customizing genitals, having sex from your perspective, etc. in Cyberpunk 2077
This has been described by ESRB, the American age rating agency, which has also marked Cyberpunk 2077 as exclusive for those over 18 years of age:
“The game contains nudity and sexual material. Players can select a gender and customize their character; customization can include depictions of breasts, buttocks, and genitalia, as well as various sizes and combinations of genitals.”
Furthermore, the long-awaited Cyberpunk 2077 will come with sex scenes in a first-person perspective, but won’t be interactive. In addition to the explicit scenes, the game will also feature sexual NPCs (non-controllable characters), both male and female.
This information was previously unknown, although the agency does refer to the variety of sexual actions that are represented in Cyberpunk 2077, that coincide with details that we already knew, such as that we will see “character’s head moving towards a partner’s crotch” or that “players can encounter events where they have the option to engage in sexual activities with other main characters or prostitutes.”
The information is contained in a report by the Australian classification board, which considered the sci-fi RPG a game for adults. The report’s description indicates that the game’s prostitution services resemble those of Grand Theft Auto (GTA). In addition to hiring sex workers, the player can also engage in in-game romance.
There are also details of a mission in a sex shop, with costumes and toys displayed throughout the store. “Mannequins are posed inside glass cabinets in various sexual positions, including a simulation of rear-entry sex,” it describes.
Although no game would probably survive depicting sexual violence, so we’re not going there
There are apparently no scenes of sexual violence in the game, but the report says the theme “is sometimes inextricably linked to the narrative”. As for common violence, the game spared no resources. Blood and exposed viscera and fractures will also be there. There is no mention of drug use.
Just a few days ago CD Projekt RED spoke of the difficulties when it comes to representing nudity in video games, especially when it comes to that of the main character. The Polish studio recognized that the age classification agencies aggressively make sure that the protagonist of a video game can not be controlled without clothes. That was the reason we didn’t see Geralt of Rivia naked in The Witcher 3.
Cyberpunk 2077 will premiere on September 17 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, though it will also come to PS5, Xbox Series X, and Stadia later. At the moment the coronavirus will not affect its launch and, in fact, on June 11 it will have its own digital event in which news of the game will be shown.
New Leaks for ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ makes Delayed Release Date even More Annoying
Cyberpunk 2077 is expected to be an excellent choice for those willing to play an RPG where they can either ‘play’ with powerful weapons, or use hacking to cause discomfort to enemies. Developed by the Polish developer CD Project, Cyberpunk 2077 is expected to be among the best games of the current year.
The game was originally scheduled for launch on April 16, but it’s certain that a delay is on the way. Thus, Cyberpunk 2077 will arrive on stores on September 17, and fans are free to speculate as much as they want regarding what the upcoming game will have to offer.
New artwork revealed by the developer
CD Project is making the wait even more annoying since it unveiled some stunning wallpapers of the future game. They are available for download on the official website of the company: https://www.cyberpunk.net/gb/en/
An official description of the game says the following:
“You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality,”
There is also official info about the futuristic location of the game, set for Night City:
“You can customise your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you.”
Those who want to be playing Cyberpunk 2077 on their PCs will need at least the following configuration for their gaming rig:
- Operating System: Windows 7 at 64 bit
