These are the most popular GTA V roleplay characters and where to find them on Twitch

Who’s the voice behind Eugene and who exactly is Bogg Dann?

Over the past few weeks, Grand Theft Auto V roleplaying servers have exploded in popularity. Some of Twitch’s most well-known streamers have joined in, making GTA V one of the most popular games on Twitch in March. As GTA V roleplaying continues to expand, it may get confusing keeping up with all the new characters on the servers.

As new people join the server, more and more characters are being created. From some of the biggest names on Twitch, like Saqib “LIRIK” Zahid, to the smallest streamers, here’s where you can find some of the most popular NoPixel GTA V roleplaying characters.

Al Saab—“Ssaab”

Ssaab plays a variety of characters on NoPixel, but he’s most known for Al Saab. He represents one of the founding members of the Leanbois gang. Saab is typically involved in a life of crime and works closely with Avon Barksdale, Lang Buddha, and others.

Avon Barksdale—LIRIK

While Lirik doesn’t play GTA V roleplay consistently, he’s returned to one of his original characters—Avon Barksdale—repeatedly throughout his time streaming on Twitch. Barksdale founded the Leanbois gang and recruited others to join the criminal organization. While Barksdale often has intricate plans to break the law, like bank robberies, he often falls short.

Bogg Dann—“Pokelawls”

Pokelawls isn’t a mainstay in GTA V roleplay, but recently, he’s joined other popular streamers in the game. By day, Bogg Dann is a taxi driver, and by night, he serves as a hostage of the Leanbois gang. Although Dann isn’t a member of the Leanbois gang, he’s occasionally involved in crime himself.

Brittany Angel—Kylie “KylieBitkin”

KylieBitkin has been predominantly streaming GTA V roleplay since she first joined Twitch a year ago. She’s studying to be a police officer and plays the convincing character of Brittany Angel. In a world full of crime, Angel does her best to lock up the perpetrators. She’s a police officer with the Los Santos Police Department.

Charles Johnson—Jaryd “Summit1G” Lazar

Summit1G recently returned to GTA V roleplay and helped start the trend on Twitch. In Los Santos, Summit1G plays one of the more dangerous criminals, Charles Johnson. It’s unwise to make enemies with Johnson. He’ll do what it takes to get revenge, even if it means a drive-by shooting.

Dale Morris—Tim “TimTheTatman” Betar

Even though he’s mostly known for playing Fortnite or World of Warcraft, TimTheTatman is another popular streamer who’s jumped into the world of GTA V roleplay. Although he’s new to the server, TimTheTatman plays as Dale Morris—a character who’s pretty similar to him. You’ll typically find Morris driving a jeep around Los Santos.

Eddie Delish—Guy “Shortyyguy”

Similar to LIRIK, Shortyyguy has been around GTA V roleplay longer than some other streamers. In Los Santos, you’ll often find Shortyyguy playing as Eddie Delish. Delish isn’t a proclaimed criminal or one of the brightest characters, but he still finds himself often mixed up in gang warfare or high-speed police chases.

Eugene—“Vader”

Vedar predominantly streams GTA V roleplay where he has numerous characters. In Los Santos, you’ll often find him bumbling around as Eugene. Eugene is an elderly war veteran who often rambles on in a conversation, and he’s a member of the Prune gang. The gang is comprised of elderly characters in GTA V and Eugene is one of the leaders. When Eugene isn’t mixed up in criminal plots, he’s typically wandering Los Santos on a bike.

Granny Edna—“KitBoga”

Kitboga grew a following on Twitch from his scam bait streams and the characters he uses to coax on scam phone callers. As GTA V roleplay picked up traction, Kitboga brought one of his most popular characters—Granny Edna—to Los Santos. Granny Edna tends to spend a portion of her time looking for her missing cat or conversing with Eugene. Despite the prominence of crime in Los Santos, Granny Edna often questions others if she’s involved in a scam.

Jean-Pierre—Félix “xQc” Lengyel

Over the past year, xQc has risen in popularity on Twitch as a variety streamer. Formally a professional Overwatch player, he’s now a full-time streamer. With GTA V roleplay gaining popularity, xQc has jumped on the bandwagon as Jean-Pierre. In Los Santos, Jean-Pierre is a bit of an outcast who’s often involved in criminal activities or attempting to land a date.

Kevin Whipaloo—Thomas “Sodapoppin” Morris

In the past, Sodapoppin has been involved with GTA V roleplay. With the game’s return to popularity on Twitch, he’s back as one of his original characters, Kevin Whipaloo. Although Whipaloo isn’t a self-proclaimed criminal, he has the tendency to get wrapped up in violence.

Kiki Chanel—“MiltonTPike1”

Despite being one of the smaller streamers who consistently plays GTA V roleplay, MiltonTPike1 plays perhaps one of the most unique characters. While some may question if Kiki Chanel is transgender, she’s adamant her masculine appearances are due to steroid abuse when she was formerly a bodybuilder. She owns Kiki’s Organic Clothing and although she isn’t a true criminal, she often has fits of rage attributed to mental health issues.

Lang Buddha—“Buddha”

Buddha plays one of the most notorious characters in GTA V roleplay. Lang Buddha is one of the original members of the Leanbois gang and works very closely with other gang members like Saab and Barksdale to pull off crimes. Ranging from pushing narcotics on the streets of Los Santos to holding up banks, Buddha is usually in the middle of it all.

Murphy Braun—“CaptainMurphy”

CaptainMurphy is another smaller streamer who spends most of his time in GTA V roleplay. Playing as Murphey Braun, a lawyer, he’s represented some of the most dangerous criminals in Los Santos, like Barksdale and Buddha. Despite being a lawyer, Braun isn’t afraid to make a deal if it means he’ll pocket some extra cash.

Otto Delmar—“Koil”

Koil is a manager and programmer of the NoPixel server and is often found in the game playing a multitude of characters. Typically, though, he’s patrolling the streets as Otto Delmar. As a member of the state police, Delmar usually has his hands full stopping crime.

Sven Snunsberg—Sebastian “Forsen” Fors

While Forsen has played GTA V roleplay in the past, he’s returned once again to the game. Playing as one of his original characters, Sven Snunsberg has a hard time avoiding conflict. While he isn’t part of the Leanbois gang, he’s occasionally wrapped up in the gang’s schemes.

Tay Tay Tyrone—Dimitri “Greekgodx” Antonatos

Greekgodx is another returner to the GTA V roleplay scene. He’s back playing Tay Tay Tyrone, a homeless man who suffers from drug addiction. Since Tyrone is typically on drugs, it’s hard to know how he’ll react to what happens around him. Due to his nature, he’s sometimes targeted by the Leanbois gang or other characters.

Yung Dab—“MOONMOON_OW”

Although MOONMOON_OW gained prominence on Twitch with his skill at Overwatch, he’s played GTA V roleplay before. He’s returned as his character Yung Dab, an older man who thinks he’s meant to be a rapper. Dab usually holds true to his namesake and dabs on people during conversation.

Ziggy Buggs—Johnny “Ziggy”

Ziggy mainly plays GTA V roleplay and acts under a variety of different characters. Typically, you’ll find him playing as Ziggy Buggs, a sheriff with Blaine County. Buggs isn’t afraid to chase after some of the most notorious criminals in Los Santos. From the Leanbois gang to petty crime, Buggs is usually at the scene.

Your guide to gaming delivered to your inbox daily.

I was sitting in a police car in a video game. Next to me was a Grand Theft Auto Online fan who didn’t want to play the game the way most people do. Actually, he was doing something the game was never really built for.

Known in-game as ViceCity2012, this player wore a nice black suit and an ear piece. He drove through Los Santos, the game’s fictionalized version of Los Angeles, roleplaying as a plainclothes police detective. Crime in this session of Rockstar’s online game was getting out of hand, he claimed. He said a man was recently kidnapped and had his ear cut off. He described it as “some real Reservoir Dogs shit.”

Many GTA fans use the game as a sandbox to play out criminal fantasies. That’s what GTA has long been about. Steal a car. Get chased by the cops. Cause mayhem. Some players, however, want to do it the other way around. They want to play as the law. The series wasn’t built for it, but, with the help of mods, chat-rooms, and some imagination, players of recent GTAs, including the hugely popular GTA V, have found a way to roleplay as cops. Thousands of people use the LSPDFR mod , for example to turn GTA Online into a sort of police simulator.

Some do it for the fun of pretending to arrest other players who roleplay as criminals. Others do it to satisfy the fantasy of driving in to save the day. The ones I’ve met do it with unabashed admiration for law enforcement, drawing no connection between their fantasies of what police can be like in a video game and the frequent headlines about police killings of people of color in America or even of the killing of police . They see the police as an occupational archetype, as the kind of people who have the capacity to calm the chaos of GTA Online, where just about everyone else is shameless outlaw.

Like most GTA roleplayers and modders, they are an enterprising bunch. They use mods to don police uniforms and drive law enforcement vehicles, some of which are made by fellow fans. They create scenarios such as routine traffic stops and patrols , sometimes even engaging in high-speed car chases .

Now 50% off, This Aluminum Hard Drive Enclosure Will Externalize.

Some players take it very seriously. They use actual police radio codes and follow police protocols (or at least, what they believe to be protocol). They’ll call for backup if they feel like the situation is too much for just one officer. They’ll mutter “10-4″ into their microphones. They draw inspiration from their own experiences with police in real life as well as from cop shows and research. Not all roleplayers are focused on ‘realism,’ however, and are more prone to take in-game mishaps, like running someone over, with a laugh.

None of the handful of police roleplayers we spoke to said they were an actual officer. A lot of them do like watching the TV show Cops.

Because GTA wasn’t built for people who want to play as the police, players have to set it all up for themselves. The form groups and assemble in small shared instances of the game where they act out a script or improv.

In a typical roleplay session, some people play the cops, others ordinary citizens. Millions of people may play GTA, but only a few dozen can interact with each other in GTA Online in any given instant. The game groups players into a shared shard of GTA Online’s big map that encompasses the big city of Los Santos and the northern suburbs and mountainside of Blaine County. Players organize to get into the same shards. As they pick tasks, every so often a player takes on the role of dispatch, giving out orders and information to the officers in the field.

The citizen players may have directions requiring them to commit certain crimes to get those going, but usually they’ll just play and see what happens. The majority of crimes are improvised, GTA police roleplayers told me. For example, a player in a session could attempt to steal a car and then lead police on a high speed pursuit. The police players would then have to react without knowing where the chase was headed or what the outcome will be. They say it is more fun this way. It adds a sense of surprise and realism to the servers and sessions.

Police roleplaying groups usually rotate members into different roles. In one session, a player might be a cop, and in the next session they could be a citizen. Some groups create worlds filled with different jobs and roles, like paramedics and firefighters. Other groups focus on just having police and citizens. In these more focused sessions, citizens are more or less waiting to cause some trouble. They drive around and observe or roleplay a routine, like going to work or getting gas. The real appeal is the moment when citizens and cops interact with each other.

Many roleplay groups have senior members who help coordinate all of this ahead of the session. Some players are even assigned ranks, such as Captain or Deputy, which they can use to call the shots in a session.

Depending on the session and the platform, players will use mods or chat to roleplay actions that GTA V doesn’t support, like ticketing or arresting players. One of the most popular mods amongst police roleplayers both online and offline is LSPDFR , a mod that turns GTA into a law enforcement simulator. LSPDFR adds new animations, custom uniforms, improves the the AI of the computer-controlled police in the game, allows players to pull over and arrest suspects and more.

Gta 5 roleplay

FiveM is limited to 24 players per server and there is only 2 decent serious roleplay servers. One is always full and you can never get on. The other you can glitch in by spamming join but, it isn’t as good as the other one. Your best bet is GTA Network and joining Eclipse Roleplay. Usually gets 60-80 players and is well developed for being new. FiveRP on GTAN is garbage. Long application to join and is seriously under developed compared to Eclipse.

aren’t you spreading fear that a modder can get you banned? i’ve really never heard of such a thing.

however that doesn’t change the fact that fivem servers are considered illegal by take2 and playing on them jeopardizes your account.

More mods by RDK_Ulman:

If you take a video with my map, please provide a link to my profile works.

ATTENTION! For my card needs the latest software:
– program “Map Editor”
– program “Menyoo”
– program “DLC Unlocker” (https://ru.gta5-mods.com/tools/dlc-unlocker)

This is a dump. Here’s a bunch of garbage, piles of scrap and ruin. This is the perfect place for clandestine Affairs. It is here settled private army “Merryweather”. These brave guys are staged in an abandoned building waste recycling plant for the production of weapons.

This is one of those maps that I often play.
The screenshots about 50% of what is on the card.

By tradition, in the archive there are three files:
friendly. Imagine yourself as a soldier of the private army and try to get used to the role. ( suitable for playing zombie mod)
neutral. Will not touch you, until you open fire.
aggressive. For fight fans. And it is unlikely you will survive.

For aggressive and neutral game I’ve made the possibility of a hidden passage. For an aggressive level of stealth mode very-very difficult. Use all the features of the landfill.

Installation of the map:
1) Put the files “”.xml in your main folder GTAV
2) Turn on the map editor.
3) Load map “FBase2( ***”.xml
4) And. Be happy! :))

What are NoPixel servers and how to apply to play GTA roleplay?

Learn how to join the server where most Twitch streamers play.

A new mod that adds roleplaying to GTA V is turning the game into a Twitch hit once again. Known simply as GTA RP, the mod allows players to join servers where they spawn as a random character instead of the series’ criminal protagonist. Players can still be the leader of a gang, or they can be just an innocent old man. What they do from there is their call.

But to play GTA RP, players have to find specific servers that will be ready to put them in the same area where other players are too. While there are a few servers that players can choose from, Twitch streamers that play GTA RP with each other are mostly registering on one called NoPixel.

What is NoPixel?

NoPixel is an exclusive GTA RP server in which players have to fill out an application form to be accepted into the platform. After they receive the owners’ approval, their login information is whitelisted and they can play on the server if a slot is available.

That’s where star streamers like Sebastian “forsen” Hans Eli Fors, Saqib “LIRIK” Zahid, and Greek play GTA RP. Whenever you see livestreams and clips of people playing with them, they’re likely all on NoPixel.

NoPixel can only host 32 players at once in its servers, which means players who get online after all slots are filled are put in a line and have to wait until someone leaves the game.

How to apply to NoPixel?

Players who want to have access to NoPixel’s GTA RP servers must fill out an application form on their website. Applications by users who donate to NoPixel are reviewed faster by their staff.

The form first requires players to provide information about their roleplaying experience. Questions like “what is your definition of roleplay?” and “when do you feel is a good time to break character?” are listed and must be answered by all applicants.

A second part asks players to already answer a series of questions in character. They’re asked what they’ll do in their first day in the GTA V city, Los Santos, and ask questions about situations that may happen during a session of gameplay, like “you’ve found what looks like a random car in the street with a load of drugs inside. What do you do and why?”

What are the rules of NoPixel?

NoPixel’s GTA RP server has specific rules that all players must follow to play, otherwise they can be removed from the whitelist and be excluded from the servers.

One of the disclaimers about the NoPixel server when players are registering notifies players that “acting ‘salty,” “breaking character,” or acting “immature even when someone appears to have broken rules around you” is punishable.

There are rules that are basic to the functioning of the GTA RP environment, such as a decent microphone that has been tested and works with GTA V. Some other extensive rules cover guidelines for interactions within the NoPixel server, crimes, permadeath, and interactions with the environment.

Players can find further information about the GTA V RP NoPixel server in their official forums.

What is Permadeath in GTA RP? Summit1g and SilentSentry drama explained

Twitch streamers Jaryd ‘GTA RP, we’ve got you covered.

Grand Theft Auto RP [roleplay] has become incredibly popular with Twitch streamers and viewers alike in recent weeks, returning to prominence as one of the highest viewed games on the platform.

Yet, there are still some things that viewers may not understand – even if they have sat down and watched numerous hours of the game.

What is Permadeath in GTA RP?

A Permadeath, short for permanent death, is a simple concept. GTA RP players do, of course, come back from deaths in-game on a regular basis, but ‘perma deathing’ is different as it’s when a player grows tired of a character or that character suffers a death in which they cannot come back from.

This can come from things like poor RP interactions, leaving a server like NoPixelor dying in an incredible manner – be it that a medical team is unable to reach them in time or they are blown to the high heavens by another player.

Think of it like a character being written out of a TV show. They’ve run their course and now it’s time for them to depart. A completely new character may take their place, but that original one that you liked isn’t coming back.

What happened between Summit and Sentry?

Summit and Sentry’s characters have been doing battle with each other for some time, due to their in-game gang affiliations. Sentry’s Jesus Garcia persona has been a part of the ‘Vagos’ with Lil Loco – a character that Summit has taken great issue with.

It all came to a head on April 1, when Summit and his crew gunned down Jesus in a back alley after spotting him roaming the streets. Jesus was then left for dead, on top of his car, after being sprayed down. While he was waiting for medical assistance, the character was doused in gasoline and blown up.

“Oh really? You’ve got to go that far with it? Ok, I guess it’s perma time,” said Sentry as he was being killed.

Why did Sentry choose to perma?

The streamer decided to close the book on the Jesus character because of what had happened. After the death, he explained later in the stream why he had chosen to do so.

“I didn’t wanna perma him there, but I kind of had to,” said Sentry, before reeling off the long list of things that had happened to him during the encounter. “We come back from that, we’re fucking invincible man – there’s nothing we can’t come back from. Every good story has to have an ending.”

While the death was not on the terms that Sentry would have liked, he decided that putting the character to a permanent rest would be the right thing to do.

So, there you have it. That’s everything you need to know about permadeaths in Grand Theft Auto RP. They’re not a ban on a streamer or player, just the death of a character that is no longer going to appear in the server.
