Red Dead Redemption 2 The First Shall Be Last Walkthrough
The First Shall Be LastВ is the 16th main story mission in Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2).В This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives ofВ The First Shall Be Last Main Quest including all Gold Medals for 100%В completion.
The First Shall Be Last is unlocked when you complete A Quiet Time.
Quest Giver: Javier Escuella
Region: West Elizabeth
- Silently kill the Bounty Hunters by the river with Javier
- Shoot the rope to free Sean
- Get 10 headshots
- Complete the mission without taking any health items
Starting Location: Blackwater, West Elizabeth
Meet Charles and Javier
To start this quest, meet up with Charles and Javier on a hill overlooking Blackwater. Sean has been captured, and is being held in Blackwater. It seems like he’s being used as bait to draw out his friends, and it’s working.
After a few minutes surveying the town, Trelawny will show up to inform you that Sean is being held by bounty hunters, and will be moved upriver to be transferred to a federal prison. You have to rescue him before its too late.
Follow the Boat
Get back to your horse and follow the boat upriver. Trelawny will advise you to stay away from the cliff edge, but it doesn’t seem that you can be spotted until the boat lands. Once it does, use your binoculars to spot Sean on the boat and watch him being led up the path.
Before you follow Sean, Trelawny has an idea to take out the two bounty hunters on the shore while giving you a stealth refresher.
Wait for Trelawny to ride up to them and cause a distraction, then crouch and make your way across the river slowly.
- GOLD MEDAL: Silently kill the Bounty Hunters by the river with Javier
- GOLD MEDAL: Get 10 headshots
If you have any throwing knives, you can start to work on your headshots, otherwise creep up behind the bounty hunters and perform a stealth kill. Just make sure you wait until Javier is in position before making your move.
Get to the Camp
Now that Trelawny’s job is over, he will leave you to your rescue mission. Follow Javier up to the path where there are two more bounty hunters to deal with. In the narrow confines of the path ahead, stealth isn’t really an option anymore, so use Dead Eye to get two more headshots. From here out, follow Javier up the canyon, keeping in cover wherever possible to avoid damage.
- GOLD MEDAL: Complete the mission without taking any health items
Again, Dead Eye is your friend for avoiding damage and getting headshots. Remember that the gold medal requirement says that you can’t take Health items, but you can still use items that restore your Dead Eye as long as they don’t affect your Health. If you are running low on Health, also remember that your Health meter will regenerate slowly, as long as your core is not depleted. Its very slow however, so don’t rely on that unless you can find a safe place to hole up for several minutes.
Keep a careful eye out for snipers on the canyon walls. They typically have very powerful long guns which do a lot of damage, and can usually still hit you from above while you’re in cover, so take them out as soon as they appear.
Meet up with Charles at the top of the path and together you will head for the camp. Predictably there will be a lot more bounty hunters to kill. Charles and Javier will also be shooting, so get your headshots in while you can. Watch out for the sniper on the water tower as you push up into the camp.
When the coast is clear, there’s one more thing you have to do.
- GOLD MEDAL: Shoot the rope to free Sean
Grateful for his rescue, Sean shows the appropriate respect for his savior.
Your friends will head back to camp, leaving you to scavenge the camp for treasure. Mission complete!
This finishes The First Shall Be Last main mission in Red Dead Redemption 2. Now the next quest Pouring Forth Oil – II starts.
Next Up: Pouring Forth Oil – II

RDR2: Americans At Rest walkthrough Red Dead Redemption 2 Guide and Walkthrough
Americans At Rest is one of the missions available in Red Dead Redemption 2’s second chapter. During this mission you have to visit a saloon. The visit will end with a fist-fight. Your goal is to defeat a few people, including Tommy.
How to unlock: Meet with Javier Escuella in the saloon in Valentine.
Walkthrough: Watch the cut-scene that shows the meeting in the saloon. Soon, a fight breaks out – this serves as a tutorial for more advanced hand-to-hand combat. You can use dodges (press the right button) or blocks (hold the dodge button). One of the enemies should catch the hero from behind. Press the correct button rhythmically to free yourself.
Help Javier when the game displays the message that he needs help (the picture above).
The second part of the mission takes place outside the saloon – your objective is to defeat Tommy who is a more challenging fighter. Don’t rely only on regular attacks – the man can avoid them with ease or even use (more powerful) counterattacks. Instead, you should rely on dodges and blocks – attack after each successful block/dodge. Tommy can knock you down – quickly press the correct button to free Arthur. Start hitting Tommy when he is the one on the ground. Defeat Tommy to end this rather short mission.

Red Dead Redemption 2: The 10 Best Van Der Linde Gang Friendships, Ranked
The Van Der Linde Gang has its issues but that doesn’t mean the central focus of Red Dead Redemption 2 doesn’t have some memorable friendships.
The Van Der Linde Gang has its issues but that doesn’t mean the central focus of Red Dead Redemption 2 doesn’t have some memorable friendships between members. The group is filled with so many different personalities and backgrounds so it shouldn’t be surprising strong bonds were built through hardship. So many of the combinations have such strong ties to one another. So although the main focus of this game isn’t exactly the friendships, it does well in this area too.
Let’s rank the ten best Van Der Linde Gang friendships featured in Red Dead Redemption 2.
10 John & Charles
For much of the story, John Marston and Charles Smith were part of the Van Der Linde gang but weren’t exactly best friends. It wasn’t really until the epilogue that they grew close to one another. Charles helped John build a new life and home as he sought a new beginning after what happened to Arthur Morgan. Sometimes you can find friendships in the least expected places and they can end up being the strongest bonds.
9 Arthur & Lenny
Arthur and Lenny Summers had a friendship that was on display during one of the more memorable missions in the game. The mission in question had a drunk Arthur calling out for his friend Lenny in a saloon and desperately trying to find his friend.
Lenny’s life was pretty difficult and still was as a black man in America at the turn of the century. They weren’t super close, but friends nonetheless and that’s all that really matters.
8 Hosea & Lenny
Many people like to draw comparisons between Hosea Matthews and Lenny’s relationship and the one shared between Arthur and John. Like Arthur, Hosea sees himself in the younger fellow and wants him to build a better life outside of the gang. In turn, Lenny just wants to do right by Hosea just like John wants to do with Arthur.
Sadly, they both weren’t able to see things through but were buried next to one another as they wanted. It was really emotional for players when they came across it in the world.
7 Arthur & Sadie
When players first come across Sadie Adler it’s as an angry and confused widow who just saw her husband murdered in the dead of winter. As time goes on players, through Arthur’s eyes, get to see this woman evolve into an independent woman who’s looking for revenge through bounty hunting. When John runs into her in the epilogue you can tell that Arthur’s passing put a heavy toll on her heart. She now just wants to live a life serving justice to the worst of people.
6 Arthur & Dutch
The toughest part of seeing someone as a father figure is realizing when that man is no longer who he once was. Arthur seemed to have the utmost respect for Dutch Van Der Linde and valued the life Dutch provided him with and the lessons he taught him. Dutch’s fall from grace mentally seemed to hit Arthur and John the most and Dutch’s decisions ultimately led to Arthur’s death, unfortunately.
5 Javier & Bill
Javier Escuella and Bill Williamson are one of the only friendships you hear about in both games, the other being the one between Dutch and John. They’re pretty different when it comes to their background and on paper look like oil and water next to one another. Whether through spite or stubbornness they both stay loyal to Dutch which leads to the rifts they have with John Marston during his journey of redemption. What an odd pairing of human beings.
4 Dutch & Hosea
As two of the oldest fellows in the entire Van Der Linde Gang, Dutch and Hosea have one of the stronger bonds in the whole crew. Many of the members feel that Hosea is the only one who can effectively whisper in Dutch’s ear and lead him towards better decisions. Once Hosea passes players can witness the spiraling madness of Dutch as his right-hand man is no longer there to steer him straight. Hosea was the most important person in Dutch’s life, sadly.
3 Arthur & Charles
Towards the end of the game, players get to witness the real brutality of Dutch and what he’s willing to do to stay free as he manipulates Eagle Falls and his tribe. During this whole time, Arthur is spending a lot of time with Charles as they try to navigate the end of the Van Der Linde Gang.
Charles came to grow close to Arthur and that bond may have been what made Charles want to help John in the epilogue. Charles always respected Arthur’s search for redemption after a life of crime.
2 Dutch & Micah
The friendship formed between Dutch and Micah Bell is one of the best in terms of narrative storytelling, but one of the worst when looking at what it resulted in. Micah was likely never really fully behind Dutch, but he understood how to not step on his toes while still trying to feed his escalating desperation. In the end, it seems that Dutch let Micah get the best of him, and it cost the lives of many other friends. Micah knew exactly what Dutch wanted to hear and Dutch ate every word of it.
1 Arthur & John
It’s hard not to put the relationship between Arthur and John at the top of the list. Not only are they the protagonists of their games, but they are also both men seeking redemption due to a life of crime and mistakes. Arthur’s journey, once complete, puts a lot more context into what John fights for and why he’s seeking to be a better person. They’re the closest you could be to brothers without actually being blood-related. Arthur just wanted John to live an honest and happy life with Abigail.
Red Dead Redemption 2: Hunting Requests – walkthrough, map Red Dead Redemption 2 Guide and Walkthrough
In Red Dead Redemption 2 you can hunt various animals. Your character can hunt a squirrel, a rabbit, a turkey, a doe or even a bison. However, this is only a fraction of all the animal species found in RDR2. You can hunt during main missions, side activities or when you are exploring the game’s world.
How to start a Hunting Request?
After starting the second chapter of Red Dead Redemption 2, you can find Hunting Requests. They are in post offices or train stations in Valentine, Rhodes, Strawberry, Saint Denis, Van Horn, and Armadillo. A Hunting Request is always the same, regardless of the place in which you found it.
These hunts are part of “A Better World, A New Friend” mission. You have to complete 5 Hunting Requests. Only one request can be active at a time.
To start a Hunting Request, you have to approach a poster and read it. You can focus on the request or leave it after you are done with the main storyline.
Which animals I have to hunt?
This mission consists of five requests. Each one of them requires you to hunt different animals.
Objective: One adult rabbit, one average squirrel (both carcasses must be in perfect condition).
Objective: One cardinal, one rat, one woodpecker (all carcasses must be in perfect condition).
Objective: One chipmunk, one opossum, one oriole, one robin (all carcasses must be in perfect condition).
Objective: One songbird, one sparrow, one toad, one bullfrog, one skunk (all carcasses must be in perfect condition).
Objective: One cedar waxwing, one bat, one blue jay, one crow, one beaver (all carcasses must be in perfect condition).
Reward: $150 + a letter from Mrs. Hobbs.
How to collect rewards?
To collect money for completing Hunting Requests you have to send carcasses to Mrs. Hobbs via mail. After that, she will send you money.
Complete all requests to receive a letter. Mrs. Hobbs invites you to her house. She will give you a squirrel figurine. Besides that, you will also unlock It’s Art trophy.
Red Dead Redemption 2: Hunting Guide (Tips & Tricks)
Red Dead Redemption 2 gives players a lot of things to do in its massive world. This guide will show players how to most effectively go hunting.
With a world as massive as the one in Red Dead Redemption 2, there is obviously a lot of stuff players can do to pass the time. Players can go out and steal people’s horses, play poker, and even complete small tasks for random people in the world. This makes Red Dead Redemption 2 a very rewarding and immersive experience where players can literally play the game however they please.
Those who grow tired of killing and robbing every NPC that they encounter may yearn for a new challenge to keep the game feeling fresh. Going out hunting for both small and large game is a great way to have fun, while still getting to shoot Arthur’s vast assortment of guns. Those who are unused to hunting in RDR2 may not realize that it is a lot more complicated than just pointing at animals and shooting. This guide is here to explain some of the hunting mechanics and give players tips for bagging their very first grizzly or alligator.
RDR2 Hunting: Bring the Right Guns
When players first learn how to hunt animals, they will be taught to use their bow to bring down deer cleanly. The bow is a great weapon as it is silent and makes for very clean kills compared to something like a shotgun. Players who want to bring smaller animals like birds and rabbits a little easier though can actually invest in the varmint rifle. This will enable players to get clean kills with those kinds of creatures as well but is much easier to use than a bow.
Players who decide to go after much larger animals like Elk, Boar, or even Bears will find themselves at a severe disadvantage if they try to use the bow or varmint rifle though. For larger animals, players will probably want to use a scoped rifle. It will allow them to pick off these creatures from great distances before they can run away. It is imperative that the correct weapon is used for each hunt to ensure that the meat and hide are in the best condition possible.
RDR2 Hunting: Pelts and Meat are Useful
Earning animal pelts and meat is extremely useful for a few of reasons. The first thing that players will be able to do with anything that they gather from dead animals is to turn them in to Pearson back at the camp. This will ensure that the camp has plenty of food to live off of.
Players can also sell any pelts or meat that they acquire for some quick cash at local stores. This is actually a great way to earn money early on in the game, which in turn will allow Arthur to purchase better weapons or upgrade the gang’s camp. Pelts can also be used for personal upgrades for Arthur as well.
RDR2 Hunting: Use Dead Eye
Players who aren’t using dead eye whenever they have a chance just aren’t playing Red Dead Redemption 2 correctly. This goes double whenever trying to hunt animals. This will enable players to slow downtime and get perfect accuracy before firing a shot at animals in their path. Once Dead Eye is upgraded though, hunting will become even easier and more efficient. At higher levels, Dead Eye will highlight an animal’s weak points like the heart, lungs, and stomach. This will enable the player to get clean kills that bring animals down in one shot.
RDR2 Hunting: Getting Perfect Pelts
This isn’t explained very well in-game, so players may run into issues trying to acquire perfect pelts from the animals they bring down. Perfect pelts will earn the player drastically more money when sold, and so it almost isn’t worth hunting any animal that isn’t perfect. The only way to ensure that an animal’s pelt is perfect is to use a set of binoculars to observe animals from a distance. This will show a series of stars that rate the quality of animals. Only three-star animals provide perfect pelts.
There is another factor in earning perfect pelts though. Players will need to ensure that they use the correct weapon and that the kill is clean in order for it to be considered perfect. This means that players should try their best to aim for the lungs or heart when trying to kill animals.
RDR2 Hunting: Craft Ammo
It can be extremely tedious to craft arrows ammo, but they can truly be game-changing when out hunting. Rifle ammo can be notched in order to cause more damage, which will be extremely necessary for bringing down larger animals like bears and boars. This is even more true if players want to bring those animals down before they attack. Arrows can also be crafted to increase damage or cause poison damage for players who want to hunt large game with a little more of a challenging weapon.
RDR2: Bait is Player’s Best Friend
While players could just hunt whatever they find out in the wilderness, sometimes they will be trying to hunt a specific animal. In order to do this, it is imperative that bait is used to attract animals to the player’s location. To increase the chances of specific animals appearing, players will need to travel to areas of the map where those animals are more common. Animals will be drawn on the in-game map in the areas where they can be found. If players are seeking out big game though, it is best to drop the bait and hide where the animal can’t see to prevent being attacked.
Red Dead Redemption 2 can be played on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
Red Dead Redemption 2: Lindsey Wofford – Bounty Hunting Mission Red Dead Redemption 2 Guide and Walkthrough
On this page you will find a description of the pursuit mission in which you have to chase Lindsey Wofford. This person can be captured alive or murdered (after that, you just deliver his body to the law officers). Our walkthrough explains where the bandits’ fort is located and what tactics you should choose.
You can collect the bounty hunter’s contract by visiting the police station in Saint Denis and checking the wanted poster hanging on one of the walls. A law officer will give you more information about the wanted letter.
You must reach the fort in Mossy Flats occupied by bandits. It is located far north of the city.
This mission doesn’t force you to bring Lindsey to Saint Denis and it’s a big convenience, because you can kill him easily. After you’ve entered the fort and called the fugitive, you can wait until he stands by the cannon adjacent to the red barrel (the picture above). Hitting the barrel will lead to an explosion.
If you still want to capture the bandit alive, first deal with other enemies and only at the very end get closer to the target. Use your lasso. Whatever technique you choose, watch out for other bandits from the fort, including a few enemies who can reach this location once you have started fighting.
Note – There is a collector’s card hidden in the fort.
Place unconscious Lindsey or his corpse on the horse and head back towards Saint Denis. Along the way, Arthur will fall into a group of hostile bounty hunters who want to pick up Wofford and win the prize themselves. Attack them as soon as they appear and use the Dead Eye skill.
When you return to the town, place Wofford in the cell or leave his corpse in the cart at the back of the building. For completing the mission you will receive $100.

Top 5 Best Horses in Red Dead Redemption 2 & How to Get Them
Horses are an incredibly important aspect of your time in Red Dead Redemption 2. Your steed is not only a convenient way to get around, but a walking inventory, and something you can bond with too, which is always nice. The one you start out with at the beginning of your adventure, however, isn’t so great. As such, we’ve put together a complete list of the top 5 best horses in Red Dead Redemption 2, down below. It includes a breakdown of their stats, where to get them, how much they’ll cost you, and any other requirements you may need to know about before you can splash your cash on these noble steeds.
The five best horses listed below contain a mix of the very best that Red Dead Redemption 2 has to offer overall, as well as one or two that don’t require you to make your way so far through the story. Many of the very best horses in Red Dead Redemption 2 can only be purchased once you’ve reached the very late stages of the game. We’ve noted all of this below, however, to clear this up for you.
Dutch Warmblood (Seal Brown)
- Where Can it Be Bought: Strawberry Stable (Chapter 3)
- Health: 4
- Stamina: 5
- Speed: 3
- Acceleration: 3
- Handling: Standard
- Cost: $150
The Dutch Warmblood’s stats aren’t going to compared with the other horses that made the cut on our list, but that’s because it’s a great all-rounder that you can unlock relatively early on in Red Dead Redemption 2. If you’re looking for a solid upgrade from your starter horse that isn’t going to break the bank, you should definitely look at getting this one. You’ll need to wait until Chapter 3 to be able to grab it from Strawberry Stable. Unfortunately, we’ve yet to find this one out in the wild.
Andalusian (Rose Grey)
- Where Can it Be Bought: Van Horn Stable (Chapter 6)
- Health: 7
- Stamina: 5
- Speed: 3
- Acceleration: 3
- Handling: Standard
- Cost: $440
The Andalusian makes it onto our list of best horses for its tanky health stat. Sure, it might be a little slower than the other entries on our list here, but its high stamina stat makes it a perfect getaway steed. Plus, at only $440, it’s less than half the cost of the rest of the best horses to come on our list. Keep in mind, however, you can only get the Andalusian from Van Horn stable once you’ve reached chapter 6 in the story.
Again, we’ve yet to find this one out in the wild.
- Where can it Be Bought: Tumbleweed Stable (Epilogue 1), Blackwater Stable (Epilogue 1)
- Health: 7
- Stamina: 5
- Speed: 6
- Acceleration: 5
- Handling: Standard
- Cost: $950
Now we’re beginning to see the big boys make an entry. The Turkoman is a bit of a beast in every category, with health and speed being its particular strengths. It’ll cost you $925- $950 to get your hands on from the Blackwater or Tumbleweed stables following reaching epilogue 1 in the story. The difference in price comes down to the coat you want, we’ve listed the silver one here, which can be gotten at Tumbleweed stable, with the Dark Bay variant available at Blackwater.
Missouri Fox Trotter (Silver Dapple Pinto)
- Where Can it be Bought: Blackwater Stable (Epilogue 1)
- Health: 5
- Stamina: 6
- Speed: 7
- Acceleration: 5
- Handling: Standard
- Cost: $950
If speed’s more what you’re looking for, the Missouri Fox Trotter is one of the best horses you can get in Red Dead Redemption 2. With an acceleration stat of 5, and a maxed out speed stat of 7, this is blisteringly quick. Plus, its stamina of 6 means it’ll go for ages.
Again, however, it can only be gotten after reaching epilogue 1 in the story, so you’ll have to wait a while. That, and its hefty price tag will mean you won’t be able to get this horse for a while. Once you do, though, you’ll be the envy of many cowboys.
Arabian (Rose Grey Bay)
- Where Can it Be Bought: Blackwater Stable (Epilogue 1)
- Health: 7
- Stamina: 7
- Speed: 6
- Acceleration: 6
- Handling: Elite
- Cost: $1250
The Arabian Rose Grey Bay horse is the best horse in Red Dead Redemption 2. Its stats are unparalleled, even offering elite handling. Its stats are almost entirely maxed out, but all of this comes at a price. You’ll need to shell out $1250 at the Blackwater Stable upon reaching epilogue 1 to get it.
It’s worth noting that it is possible to get the Arabian White Coat out in the northwest corner of Red Dead Redemption 2’s map around Lake Isabella. However, its stats aren’t quite as good with both its health and stamina coming in at a 5 rather than a 7. If you want to save cash, though, and don’t mind making these stat sacrifices, you’ll want to embark on a trip to Lake Isabella with your lasso.
And there you have our top five best horses in Red Dead Redemption 2. Should we come across any other of superior horses on our travels across the wild west, we’ll be sure to update this guide and let you know.

Here’s How to Get the Best Horse in Red Dead Redemption 2, No Story Progression Required
With Red Dead Redemption 2’s big, expansive in-game world, having a reliable horse to ride on is really important. And with the in-game horses permanently dying, it’s super important to find the right one, take care of it, so it’ll be around until you complete the game.
What if you’re looking for the best horse in the game though? We got you covered! While you can check out the video below posted by YoTuber Arrekz Gaming to watch it all unfold, the step-by-step guide can be read below for those who want a quicker way of digesting the info!
Remember: this is a horse that you can get at anytime as long as you can free-roam!
Step-by-step guide on How to Get the Best Horse in Red Dead 2:
- Go to the top leftmost corner of the map (Lake Isabella).
- It’s a snowy area, so have Arthur wear something for cold climates.
- You’ll see the horse (Arabian) and it’s white, which makes it harder to see given the white, snowy backdrop. Just poke around the lake and it will be there. It’s a fixed spawn, so it’s guaranteed that the steed will be there.
- It’s a wild horse, which means you’ll have to tame it.
- Once you see the horse (remember: it’s an Arabian white horse), hold L2/LB to focus on the horse.
- Walk slowly towards it, and DO NOT RUN at it or you’ll spook it away.
- Pay close attention to the bar on the lower right hand corner of your screen, if the meter goes down and is about to run out, tap square to calm the horse down.
- Every time the horse gets agitated or is about ready to go wild and run, stop moving so it doesn’t get spooked and leaves you biting the dust (er, snow?).
- Continue approaching the horse slowly, being mindful of calming the horse down as you slowly move.
- Once you’re close enough, pat it (square button).
- Pat all done? Mount the horse!
- Once you’ve mounted it, it will try to throw you off! Best thing to do is to hold the left analog stick down initially, and then hold it the opposite way the horse is moving (ie: if the horse tries to go left, hold right on the analog stick and so on).
- The game will notify you once the horse is broken in.
- Once you’ve done that, you can then get your saddle and put that on your brand new, super agile horse!
Here’s a screenshot of the horse’s stats:
As another sidenote, this breed of horse will become available in later parts of the game, but that requires you finish a certain part of the story before it’s available for purchase. So if you want to save, and get the best horse in the game right away, follow the instructions above.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Horse Flesh for Dinner Walkthrough
Horse Flesh for Dinner is the 36th main story mission in Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2).В This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives ofВ Horse Flesh for Dinner Main Quest including all Gold Medals for 100%В completion.
Horse Flesh for Dinner is unlocked after completing Advertising, the New American Art – II.
Quest Giver: John Marston
- Kill the stable hand showing you the horses
- Catch the stallion within 10 seconds
- Get 5 headshots
Starting Location: Caliga Hall, Lemoyne
Talk to John
To start this quest, travel to Caliga Hall. You will be stopped at the gate by the guards, but they will stand down when they hear that you are meeting Marston to talk business about some horses.
The guard directs you towards the south, to the stables. Ride around the fence and follow the waypoint to find them.
You’ll find them talking with Tavish Gray, patriarch of the Gray family. He wants you to steal some prized horses from the Braithwaites without having the deed linked back to him. He really does not like them.
He also directs you to a contact who deals in stolen horses, allowing you to sell them at much higher rates that you would at a normal stable, which can be useful for the future.
It sounds like a great deal. Get back on your horse and follow John to the Braithwaite Manor. You make a plan to make the Braithwaites think that you’re in the market to buy horses to get in.
John fast talks his way past the guard, and you’ll ride to the stables and hitch your horse.
Arthur will approach the stablehand and begin the negotiations. Eventually he will give in, and lead you inside. When the moment presents itself…
A stealth kill won’t draw attention, allowing you to make a cleaner getaway. Plus it fulfills the gold medal requirement, so there’s that too.
Approach the Horse
Arthur says he’ll grab the white horse while John and Javier grab the other two. As soon as you open the door to the stall, the horse begins to buck, reacting to the stranger that has him trapped. Target him and calm him down while approaching slowly.
Calm him down until you can pat the horse and make him stop panicking, then lead the horse out of the stable.
Lead him over to the other two horses, and Marston will tether them to Javier’s horse.
Its about this time that everything will go wrong.
Take the Horses to Clemens Cove
Hopefully you have your bandanna up by now. Shoot your way out of the fields, making sure to get five headshots along the way.
- GOLD MEDAL: Get 5 headshots
Shortly after you leave your last pursuit behind, you’ll hear one of the horses squeal and start to buck. Javier will notice. Make sure that you equip your lasso and have it at the ready.
Within five seconds, that stallion will break free and start to run. If you’re fast enough you can lasso it immediately before it gets too far away.
- GOLD MEDAL: Catch the stallion within 10 seconds
Once you have him lassoed, ride back to the group with the horse in tow.
